This was such a revelation for Taeyang. If you watched Taeyang's videos in chronological order, you would find a common theme in his music and image-- hopeless romantic, good guy kinda vibe. He was a little confined in his box. Not that adventurous as GD. Worn only mohawk for years. But then with the RISE album. Taeyang for the first wanted to change that. He was unsure if the public would take the "rebel" look and would accept this western style underground hiphop vibe. Yes, GD helped him a lot. He wrote and composed Ringa Linga and even joined Taeyang in the MV. Not all fans liked it though as Taeyang's image of good boy, religious, and well-mannered man suddenly switched into what they called "GD image/influence". Taeyang was spared for all the hate but GD took everything. There was even a petition that they wanted Taeyang to stay away from GD because GD is destroying his image.

OMG. This makes so much sense. I damn well LOVE Ringa Linga. I loved everything about it. The song, the choreo, the look, the vibe, his HAIR!!! You would probably noticed that I was not a fan of his hair all of the time but in this video, it was perfection to me.

Aside from his vocal n music, what i like the most about taeyang is his style, he's extreme in a weird n eccentric way, either u like or hate him....he's unique in my eyes, how i wish he can be like 'rise' era again, i'm sucker for his bad boy image 😂😂😂

Haha taeyang was first in the rap line and debuted in a hip hop group with gd under the group name gdyb, but later switched to the vocal line because of bigbang, and this song is one of the few songs where he shows off his raps!💛👍🏻

I love this song so much, you see so many sides and ranches of taeyangs voice, GD makes a small appearance just like taeyangs does in one of a kind, showing eachother support and love, this song fits taeyang so well because you see so much of taeyang, i always like and appreciate his tribe feel appearances, he does it often our sun God hihi, and the best excuse to be shirtless too, no tribes men wears shirts.. but this song does feel like GD, and if I'm not mistaken he wrote and composed this song for taeyang, it was a single online before it also appeared in his second album Rise, I feel like he was in his element, I love seeing him dance, and it was an amazing dance performance, I miss their dance performances I always loved watching them, they really where the first with so many things, creating the way.. I absolutely love the variety, diversity and creativity in this mv.. the refrain is inspired by a Korean children's nursery song called "Round and Round," I like how they used that.. it's just an amazing song.. so happy to rewatch it with you T, Love this format, of music video, making of or dance performance / live performances. 🤔 Now that I know GD wrote this song, I see now why I love it so much but of course YB executed the vocals and dance performance like the pro that he is. So depending on what I'm doing. When I'm in transit or walking, I love listening to Butterfly, Blue, Bad Boy, A Boy, etc, the mellow songs. But when I'm at the gym or going for a run, it's Crooked, Fantastic Baby, Bang Bang Bang etc. I don't listen to songs I haven't reacted to so I've just been adding to my playlist as I go. I think the song I have most often on repeat is Zutter. It's the only song that I've heard that I haven't reacted to. I haven't seen any live performances so I'm gonna do that one day. The choreography may have been made by Parris but Taeyang’s individual moves scream MJ as usual lol. Imagine having a friend like GD who makes a song like this for you. It had not occurred to me that BB were the first to do dance performances but maybe you’re right, they were the first.
