"You're the KZbin guy right?" Yes. The one and only, the sole KZbin guy. A long time ago the content creators lived in peace. Then all that changed when Drama Alert Nation attacked. Only the KZbin guy, master of all the content creation methods, could stop them, but when the KZbin community needed him most. His drone vanished. 10 (maybe 11 I'm not sure) days passed and two un-named and faceless men found it under a bridge for the KZbin guy, a filmmaker named Casey. And although his videography skills are great, he has a lot more to film before he can save anyone. But I believe Casey can make KZbin great again.

+Andrey Doichev Casey has never done a full vlog using the 5d Mark 3 and he never says if some sequences have been shot using it, so I can't link any vlogs to you (sorry!) but almost all of Casey's older videos before he started vlogging were shot on it. The reason that I think the 5d Mark 3 looks so much better is because when Casey uses it with an f/2.8 lens, the shots have a much greater depth of field and a blurrier background, which in turn makes the video look much more professional looking. Hope this helps! :)

That 80D you tested must have been defective. I have the 80D myself and have had ABSOLUTELY no issues with it. It works just fine in every way. Best camera I've ever had. HIGHLY recommended if you can afford it.

So just speculating, the reason that the back screen flickers on and off is that there's a sensor by the eye piece that turns on the EVF (like if you were putting the camera up to your eye to take a picture). If you turn that function off in the camera it should fix the problem.
