Even though the quests are under priced already for the tech you get, I think they should have just have 1 quest3s with 256gb at $299 and 1 standard quest 3 with 512gb at $499..makes it more simple for the consumer. people are less likely to make impulse game purchases if they are constantly at the edge of thier storage limits...and make less videos etc

I hope Thrill of the fight 2 will actually have some sort of league of 50 boxers and you have to work your way up that league to challenge for the belt, then when you win it, you have to defend it as much as possible, and then would be good if it could get updated with new boxers every month, all these boxing games and none have a league to rise in.

It is not changed to a live service model and anyone that bought 1 or 2 will have access to the base game for free and if they want the ability to play defense as well its only a 20.00 charge. i’ve been playing Chernobyl again on PCVR and you’re absolutely correct. It doesn’t have the same bug when you die, but the watch is super annoying. They definitely need to change that, when you hold your finger down to open up the menu sometimes it clicks on one of the menu buttons you’re not even trying to. They also don’t explain enough. They should add some tutorials, maybe a tutorial that shows that you have to put the syringe in a gun to use it. They never explained that, and I’ve watched multiple KZbin videos of people getting confused on that part. It’s visually stunning, and that’s it. And I am enjoying it for that aspect. I just don’t think it’s worth $30 for something that’s so undercooked.

@@SKBKER yeah there’s none of that on the PCVR version. Everything is pretty good, except for the fact they just don’t explain anything. And I have to open up a KZbin video every couple of minutes to figure out what to do. And again the watch is just super annoying. They could do a way better inventory system.

I was looking forward to it as another Wanderer-esque game. Hopefully they can patch the various issues, especially with PSVR 2. As for Arizona Sunshine Remake, I just can't seem to get excited for it. I would be curious about a graphical comparison video between the old and new versions, and the new version on various platforms.

I play star wars outlaw on vision pro and I really like it so far. The last patch fixed the performance issues and now it runs perfectly fine - I really do not care about the motion controllers as long as I have fun playing a game.
@Elriuhilu3 күн бұрын
That's fair enough and I have enjoyed playing VR games with a console controller, but once you play a game with proper VR controllers you'll see why people are disappointed when they can't. The motion controls add so much to the experience that it's almost a tragedy when you can't use them, unless of course the game is capable of hand tracking and doesn't require any controllers. Going up to a door in VR and opening it by reaching out with your real arm and gripping the doorknob is so much more satisfying than pressing a button. And aiming a gun realistically feels so much better than your arm seeming to be welded to your head when you can feel your real arm sitting in your lap.
@lowrider27563 күн бұрын
@@Elriuhilu It really depends on the game and genre. If I play a shooter, than the motion controllers are essential. But my favorite games are action adventures and platformers in 3rd person. For these kind of games a gamepad is better.

So the PCVR of Chernobyl Again i only had a couple issues that actually effected the game. There was one a bug that didn't give you audible feedbacks was really the only issue i ran into. Besides that i agree the watch is annoying at some spots where you need to pull out multiple items. It should have a timer so it stays open long enough for you to pull out everything in one go. I never died and didn't know you could actually die. So i'm curious what part that cause you to die GT. I'm guessing you may have had trouble with the syringe part and the radiation. Otherwise it was an ok puzzle game not really difficult as i solved everything on my own without clues in about 3 hours. Speed run about an hour 15 is all it took. I do think it's a little pricey at $30 but i love puzzle games so i'm ok with it. The story i thought was great but a smidge predictable also. Sorry that was a lot of words 😂

Love my Quest 3, but the 128gb is just too small. For 399 and 256gb I couldn't recommend the Quest 3 over that. Saying that, wonder if they'll up the 128gb model to 256gb upon release of the 3s (similar to the 128gb Q2 refresh)

Not a lot there for me personally, but I'll definitely be getting the Arizona Sunshine remaster on psvr2. I know a lot of people are tried of zombies shooters, but I don't mind them as long as they're done well and the gunplay feels satisfying, which AS2 did quite well. I hope they tweak Thrill of the Fight 2 a bit so it has a better damage model and you can actually knock people out more instead of just beating the crap out of them while exhausting yourself most of the time. I know it's a much better boxing game than Creed (you actually move around the ring), but Creed made you feel like you were a really powerful fighter, while (imo) Thrill made you feel like you were boxing amateurs that were perhaps a little better than you and had iron jaws. If Thrill can't get it right, I still have relatively high hopes for VRSO Bare knuckle boxing, which seems like they read my mind after playing Creed for 100+ hours for what I would make if I were making a new VR fighting game.

I could never recommend grabbing a fresnel lens headset these days, unless you've got a hard limit on your budget that simply can't be pushed further regardless of whether you saved a bit longer. In which case if it's fresnel or nothing I guess iQuest 3S is an improved entry point. My Quest 2 did get me hooked on VR, but I use my Quest 3 so much more.
@GAMERTAGVR4 күн бұрын
While I would normally agree with you on the fresnal lens opinion, Oculus/Meta have superior investment in lens stacks and visuals so I don’t want to write it off the Meta Quest 3s instantly. This is after all the true successor to Meta Quest 2 so it has to be good AND affordable PLUS it’s been almost a year since the Quest 3 launched. You never know what they’ve learnt.
@Joric784 күн бұрын
@@GAMERTAGVR I'd be happy to be wrong, but isn't it the same single display (and resolution), fresnel lenses and 3 position IPD adjustment as the Quest 2?
@GreyMatterShades4 күн бұрын
IMO the Quest 3s isn't really for VR enthusiasts, it's either for people who were casual Quest 2 fans, or to get new people. The last group is most important. Price point is a huge obstacle for people getting into VR as buying your first headset is usually a leap of faith. Having a cheap option is essential for VR growth.
@Joric784 күн бұрын
@@GreyMatterShades That's definitely true. When I bought the Quest 2 I hadn't tried VR since Dactyl Nightmare in the '90s. Just nowhere to even demo anything, and at that stage no-one else I knew had anything to try but Google Cardboard or equivalents. Quest 2 was about the peak of what I was prepared to spend sight, unseen online, mostly on the dreams born of (primarily) '80s scifi. I think they still need an offering at that price, even though now there's the potential to try headsets at VR arcades. I'm already hooked though, so I'd spend more if the feature set justified it. Pancake lenses were a game changer for me. I can read normal sized text and use VR for general computing anywhere in the house. I'd pay even more for teduced size/weight, better binocular overlap and larger FOV.
