So I’m entering my 6 track day and I didn’t think I would be this addicted … having said that some people at the track have 2 bikes in rotation just in case of a crash (had my first track crash last week ) I have a 17 gsxr 1000 the left fairing cracked so I’m so blessed to walk away (low side ) but for my 2nd bike I feel stupid for wanting a s1k … it’s such a nice bike I don’t think I would wanna one for track only (yes there are bMWs at the track )

So does the new one have his geared? I noticed when you ride the new bike the powerband seems much larger or lasted much longer in each gear you went through.

Not really they’re both geared very similar. Maybe it’s cause they both shifted at different times

I’m 235 as well this 22 S1K is a beast with bren tune stage 1 & 2 on it. It’s lowered 1 inch got flap delete with upgraded air filter.

In fact it's a gen3 et gen4 bc 1st gen was 2009-11 2nd gen was 2012-14, 3rd gen 2015-18, 4th gen 2019-22 and 2023 is the 5th gen
