GSW sent the right garbage away especially in Poole+Wiseman+Klay and CP3 an obvious gone. Not sure about the acquisitions because GSW is stacked with excess but doesn't hurt the budget to have a few interesting vets get in the mix. Just have to properly manage all and not be tinkering with things nonstop or benching guys deserved of minutes etc.

Giannis is my dream partner for Steph. He may not be a floor spacer the Warriors wanted but he checks the Warriors need for legit interior defense and offense. Defenders would definitely have foul troubles and a hard time defending Giannis around the paint. He's also a great rebounder so that's a big chance for a second attempt at the basket

I remember booing Dunleavy when he was wearing a Warriors uniform. Didnt think he would be a good GM. That being said ... we've had a VERY good summer. Sometimes the moves you DONT make are more important than the moves you DO. I give him a B+/A-. It wouldve obviously been better if we landed PG or Lauri, but I dont think that was up to us. The Jazz and Clips didnt want to play ball with us. Nobody wants the Levine contract and I'm a little surprised at the lack of interest in BI, but Kerr has coached him already so I have to think he knows whats up. The Warriors have a stronger roster than people realize.

Podz starting is not a good idea. It’s not the role for him otherwise he would’ve continued to start over Klay but he didn’t. Pg/ facilitator is his best role on the bench.

this is facts. I actually thnk we have a lot of depth at the 2 spot which is going to leave Podz as a backup facilitator (1). That puts him in a non steph lineup with Buddy Hield, GP2, and whoever else is in that second unit. If they can just be a +0, Steph can carry the starters to a +10 or better and we'll be great. What do you think about starting big with Wiggins at the 2, Kuminga and Draymond as the 3 and 4, and Trayce or even Loon at the 5?

@@jaystack2020 there’s a lack of spacing with that lineup. The defense will be better but that’s if both Wiggins and Kuminga are better this year cause last year was suspect from both of them. That also takes away from our depth at the two. I’d rather Steph, moody/melton, Kuminga, dray, Trayce. If Wiggins has to start, then Steph, moody/melton, Wiggins, Kuminga, dray.

⁠@@IguessitsmeI do think it will be a dog fight for the starting 2 spot and it very well could be Moody or Melton. I still think Wiggins will start. His “decline” has been overhyped as his per 36 wasn’t that far from 2022. And he fully understands the Kerr/Curry system. Plays great 2 way basketball and can switch onto anyone. In terms of that “big” lineup I proposed, I think they would be so scary defensively that offensive spacing would come from our transition game. Vs. last year where Klay and Steph on the court together couldn’t get a defensive stop. So even with better “shooters” our spacing and offensive production was ass. (For the record, I don’t think we’ll ever actually see that lineup. It’s just a dream of mine)

Yes. Exactly this. I just spoke of Trayce and Loon. There is Wiggins who will definitely shine on a properly managed team. GSW has still too many players. Very good role players but too many. Management will either make this an excellent team or be out in space benching the wrong guys while tinkering with lines all year to fail.

Same thoughts as mine again. Klay gone has removed a massive psycho trip along with a broken body=best thing GSW has done in many years. CP3 gone gives another minutes. All comes down to managing the players correctly and yes we will see Wiggs+Loon dominating as they can when the team is organized right and playing together without any psycho bs going on. GSW has always won with selfless well organized teams. Lets see if management can get it done this year.

The warriors real target should be D Book he worked perfectly with Steph in the Olympics and Kerr really seemed to like him and his style of play. If the suns big 3 continues to not work with their lack of depth and no draft capital a trade with some picks and players like wiggins to add depth would be perfect for both teams

joe lacob did not recieve any help from the city at all building that arena. He needs to be able to sell tickets at ridiculously expensive prices. If curry leaves, it will be back to the college nights 4 tickets for 100 dollars kind of deals. It will be another 13 yrs straight of tanking. The bigger problem is- warriors havent shown they can knock it out of the park with lotto picks. I know wiseman missed training camp as a rookie and big guys take a long time to develop and bla bla...... but how long can people use that crap as excuses?

I want Trayce in there. Loon as well. We have way too many players still. Disposing of the major problem Klay is biggest player move GSW has made in many years. So much stupid media on who can replace a psycho with broken body when so many already existing pre-aquisitions can play better. Then the new media movie about how GSW is 0 without Klay and need to go all in for Steph's final years. GSW was the in the top 5? records down the stretch last year. If not for garbage management+Dray with mental institutional camp+Klay being a complete problem, GSW makes the Playoffs. Some teams have improved this off-season like OKC but GSW has improved if management can figure it out. All media and whoever saying GSW will not make the Playoffs are very wrong unless management fails again. Not quite enough to go very deep but definitely not far off either.

Why do you podcasters keep thinking Podziemski is going to start???? The Warriors did not go sign both Buddy Hield and De'Anthony Melton to be backups to Podziemski! De'Anthony Melton (if healthy) is a much better fit next to Curry. The Warriors need to bring Podziemski off the bench to feed Buddy Hield and other scorers on the second unit.

I'm sure he is following directions from Lacob around getting under the tax apron and building on Curry's prime window. Dunlevey is more of a custodian than a GM with what Myers left for him. I see that he is not messing up the team roster to appease Lacob and Curry. So the jury is still out for me on Dunlevey, but he has drafted well so far.

I'd like to see Kuminga working out with NBA Pros whether it's individual workouts with current or ex nba STARS helping him on particular aspects of his game that can make him more of a complete player. Then he can sharpen those skills in pick-up games with other PROs like you see a lot of the NBA's best do. For footwork he should go visit ISO Joe!!!!

Kerr not going to play kuminga mich. And dnp moody most gxmes. For some reason he does not believe in them. Look at Jason Tatum in olympics. Kerr had no problems not playing young players. Lacob made big mistake extending kerr. He's only good coaching veteran championship teams. Not develop young players. We need ime oduka or like that young coaches. Dunleavy can get big centers but Kerr won't play them.

I have faith in Dunleavy Jr. He has to manage with what was given to him, he had to keep themselves under the luxury tax salary cap. Fans can bitch and moan that they didnt get a second superstar. Wiggins is basically untradeable unless you give him away and they would have to lose four first rounders and for who (Markennen, who has never been a performer in the playoffs). Getting Markannen for four first rounders would have been like if the Warriors traded for Kevin Love in 2014, he had Markennen stats with zero playoff performances. Never put up the stats that he did when he was the big star in a small pond franchise. There was absolutely NOBODY in the trade market this year that would have made the Warriors a serious contender. I think MDJ is doing fine with whats given with him. He has drafted well to keep the number below what Lacob wants. Guarantee that none of you hating fans even have a grasp of what you could do to make the numbers work without mortgaging a lot of first rounders.
