Things might change as always, but one of the devs said on stream that he got a really fun run where he got Scout's grapple and then an upgrade which removed fall damage and created shockwave wherever he falls, damaging enemies around. I'm really hoping the game will end up being Risk of Rain -esque with a potential for crazy builds like that and equally crazy enemies to use them on when it comes to harder difficulties, further parts of runs, etc

As someone who drew pencil sketches of guns and stuff during secondary school, created 3d modelled weapons/hard surface assets in university, and now have a job doing low poly/pixel artwork, its very cool to see concept art of them and the design process of what their function in game is

after playing drg survivor, I think scout would get a new electric base weapon, man's got a tesla gun in drg survivor that just apply electricity like a fire modded pgl

It seems that in rogue core the dwarves we will be playing are likely superior to the ones we are playing now. Theres no classes, meaning that they can do everything, and the weapons designs look more high tech than alot of the counky weapons the current dwarves use. I think were going to be elite dwarve commandos and i’m all for it

DRG Mining Teams are, first and foremost, Miners. DRG Reclamation Teams are Corporate Soldiers. The former are akin to oil-rig workers who have to fight pirates from time to time, so they have guns for protection. The latter are a private army that hunt down the pirates and reclaim company assets, so to say. Replace 'Pirates' with 'Bugs', and that's the dynamic here.

2:15 Design A could be something silly but cool like a gun that *turns enemy blood into sticky glue/honey.* It'd allow you to negate the downtime of a combo by slowing down bugs at the end. Wouldn't that be a funny way to combo?
