Its really cool how the OST is designed with Dubstep and glitchiness completely seperating it from the usual OSTs we hear from genshin, fitting with the fact this thing isn't even from Teyvat ofcourse its theme would sound completely alien

The combination of distortion to mimic deep-sea noise interference, whale calls and then the glitch-dubstep effects to give it this alien feel. Makes me super excited for any more boss fights of a similar nature Edit: also I cannot be the only one who finds the narwhal being the basis of this beast hilarious because narwhals are so incredibly shy, seeing a human can kill them.

Thats great to know! If a typical narwhal would be scared and "weak", and yet in contast this "Narwhal" is a powerhouse... That implies in the overall abyss, This massive Beast is still "weak". Even Skirk calls it just a pet, and a Bad one at that. If this is a shy, weak, domesticated being... What would any decent (In their standards) abominations that await in the abyss have in store? Gets me thinking.

Dubstep is trash tbh and always has been. It doesnt fit the setting of the fight or boss imo. However if it is a nod to Honkai being a biotechnical cosmic whale then it works.

I've played Subnautica too, and I don't really agree that the second part sounds like Subnautica. It sounds nothing like it atmospherically. The only thing they have in common is their use of dubstep and other forms of electronica.

I was shocked by the music and by the boss himself. combining a picture with such a musical theme is absolutely amazing. I've been dodging attacks for some time and just running around to listen to music. definitely Genshin made a breakthrough in the plot of Fontaine, which I am incredibly happy about. I passed the plot 19 hours ago, but I'm still impressed. It’s amazing!

In my opinion about this new boss' ost (Narwhal). I was feel amazed when I listened carefully until the end, it feels like the music sounded familiar that can actually similar to any other games... Phase 1 1.) The first part really got me goosebump when I hear that music that sounded look like from the Battlefield 1 - Prologue OST. If you listen carefully, you know the drill... 2.) The choir can be compared to God of War 4 and Ragnarok. Imagine that you are fighting Baldur, Thor or probably Odin. 3.) The orchestra can be compared from Resident Evil 8 Village and Resident Evil 4 Remake Boss Fight. Phase 2 - Now this one is a totally EPIC. Imagine if the OSTs from 3 other games have combined to make Narwhal's Phase 2 ost on fire🔥🔥🔥 1.) NIKKE 2.) Arknights 3.) Blue Archive

Well perhaps the 1st descender is either primordial one or second who came, if primordial one is first, then second who came second, the 3rd descender is dead That's my theory But if second who came is 1st descender, then the 2nd is a mystery, and yet again the 3rd is dead If this would be correct then the 2nd descender could be lumine (cannonicaly aether is the mc) so idk at all if lumine isnt 2nd
