I feel you on the hatchet's tracking... It's funny you mentionned it because just yesterday I had that exact case happen to me. I was right in front of a flamethrower torrenting his face but noone of the attacks registered, then it just looked like a desync so I rolled on top of him once more and tried some basic attack, went right through him lol.

yeah it's super scuffed, basically have to be at a slight angle from them but that's kinda hard to do when they're trying to cook you and aiming right at you haha

I had to stop using hatchets! Especially how the scorp sting lands so well and hatchet is just dogshit hitbox in general.

I still love it just because the damage is great when it actually connects, it's just the getting past the agony of swinging thru air that sucks haha

Been a few months since I played New World but loved watching the 1vX backcapping as it was my favorite thing to do in the game. Even played spear/hatchet (albeit light armor) starting from over a year ago. I always played hatchet builds from beta on and sadly that hatchet tracking bug has been in and out of the game a few times now. They seem to fix it then in another update it creeps back in.

had to go back n watch for a second to see what specifically you were talking about haha the coup de gracé stab non-crit near the beginning? that's not too shabby with blooddrinker taking away a chunk lul he was 40% rended from javelin, 10% from 200 strength, 15% empower from tumbler feetwraps, 16% emp from 4 stacks of shirking empower from amulet I was wearing, 23% from trenchant strikes since the stab is considered a heavy, 25% from merciless strength passive, 15% from finishing blows passive, 20% from exploited weakness passive since the runeglass put a dot on him and rend, 13% from gem.. stuff adds up quick brother haha

Flamethrower has a 2.5 sec cooldown if it's interrupted perk in the skill tree. When I saw that I knew what was up. I don't even care about other damage that can burst me down. I went anti fire until they fix it. I will not accept losing to a brain dead noob.

@PJsurely oh it definitely was but it's no telling what cool down perks he had on. I'm with you 100%. It was some BS. I can't stand the move because it removes all skill from the game imo. I literally go threw OPR just looking for firestaff users.
