Having only just come across this method of levelling up weapons in New World since I made an alt character & getting asked on my Twitch channel where is best to level up weapons I thought I'd throw this video up.
First time doing this on stream with the IG it took me about 45 mins, sadly on this recorded test it took 1hr 21mins

This has been the spot since the brimestone patch forever ago. Just have to make sure theres not too many people or you're xp will be hosed. The plus now is theres XP buffs. This is fairly common knowledge though for most players but it's good to get new players up to speed.

Found a guide to this spot ages ago - I believe it was from @LemoniGames . Leveled all but my 1st 2 weps there. It's a great spot. The xp gets a little meh if there's too many peeps there, but generally still the best spot by far. It is better than Deadman's ever was. I completely forgot about the boosters though and my fresh start toon still needs some leveling! Awesome reminder! TIP - during the constan mob phase just pick 2 mobs and focus them as the first will almost always pop by the time you kill #2. In a team of 5, no boosters, you should be able to clear 1500-2k from that phase alone. The other group being there is definitely hurting you on this one. It's total brain off, music on mode. Good stuff.

Yeah I almost always forget about the Season 1 boosters I managed to get my IG done in 45 mins as there was only 2-3 people there total, when doing this vid there where soooooooooo many slowing me down

In the corrupted mob stage, you can just camp a spawn or 2, no need to run around wasting time. Keep attacking as they will take dmg even before the spawn.

So in order for this to be effective you need to tag as many mobs as possible right? Being in the group only gives regular xp not weapon xp for their kills I assume.

If someone in the group plays a song using the 'all together now' perk, you get even more XP too

U can get up 2800.exp if everyone spreads out even in group of 5 in 1 min phae before the boss

Yuup if you spread out and kill 2 or 3 as they spawn the team gets a gross amount of shared xp cuz everyone holds downbtheir spot and everything dies. Good times

Ah I see what you mean, basically don't hit the same mobs as each other as no need to :)

Do you need to be in Grp to get credit off the boss for weapon xp?
