I was about to write it for you and you answered. Yes type of armor doesn't matter means let's say you get gloves 550 WM it doesn't matter the type; light medium or heavy, it will scale up regardless of the type.

Another error: chests from portals aren't affected by luck. It says so in the description. Not sure if that was different when this video was made.

Item level does matter for perks, a strength item with 500 ilvl has 19 or so strength and a 600 ilvl item has 27 or more. Also, the % modifiers on perks are increased by item level. Something that heals you for x% could be 35% at 500 ilvl and 40% at 600 ilvl.

The Armor weight doesn't matter. You have one shared watermark for a heavy, light and medium armor piece. So five different armor watermarks for Headpiece, Chest, gauntlets, leggings and shoes.

Pretty sure armor type (light, medium, heavy) does not matter, it's the slot piece alone. So if you get a 515 heavy chest, your chest watermark is 515, not just heavy chest watermark.

So im 60 for a few days. Ive farmed ebonscale, reekwater and myrkgard elites. No item has been higher than 500 after about 6+ hours of farming any of these areas. Nothing above 500.

Boses give bigest boost for watermark not elite chests, i farmed 6 hours priest lady bosses in myrkgard and my watermark went up by 30 to almost all gear

Question if you get the chance to answer this. I'm getting very frustrated doing these Zerg runs now. My average em is like 569 give or take, and in our Zerg I've been apart of, I used to get wms minimum ever other chest now it's like 2 out of 20 chest, what gives? Starting in mines I got only 1, mal I got 1, myrk, sirens and dynasty not a damn thing. This has went on now for 4-5 days/ runs now. 👍 Edit: frustrated also especially how expensive the azoth is to travel to these areas now. I hope to God they lower the cost of travel this is lunacy.

How does GS affect your DMG and defense?

To my understanding your armor pieces get more armor rating (phy/ele) while your weapons base damage increases as GS goes up.

@@ParadiseCentral You also get more primary stats like strength and dex from your higher ilvl gear. This translates to move attribute perks, more health from constitution and more damage from your main stat.

To my understanding the watermark will go to the new gearscore of the dropped gear. HOWEVER there is some gear that drops with static gearscore (like 575) and this will not increase it.

If i lets say farm a named elite boss lvl 62 for like hours and hours and days and days is it possible to get to 591 gear score but lower chance then doing 65 elites or do i HAVE to do the 65 elites to beable to get 591 gear score ??? I really have a hard time understanding the watermark stuff even with all the youtube vids
