New World | How To Rapier

This video is more focused on the 3 abilities Evade, Riposte, and Flurry. I try to break down how to utilize each of these abilities alongside each other in order to make the riposte build work.

My favourite build! It is so good... Infinite flurry on clumps, riposte and evade making you consistently dealing dmg through enemy attacks while others might get swinged around or dodge far... You can finish majors and bosses if rest ends up dead. Cant really spam leeching flurry on clumps in m10s and expect to live tho, till m8 it seemed fine (if you aggro too much). Just need to learn attack patterns and learn the flow of basic attacks, riposte timing, evade can be quite inconsistent for some reason. I would encourage anyone to try this build! Btw that Myrk kill at the end is just flexing on us :D GJ, keep up!

I prefer this build over the bleed build. Sure... bleed does more dmg, but it's very likely that it'll get nerfed

what would say is the min you should have for either dex or int? (ie if you start with 100 con)

These are my recommendations: 100 con: 265 dex 150 int 65 con: 300 dex 150 int 50 con: 300 dex 165 int 5 con: 300 dex 210 int

you could create a macro for the Ripost + Evade right?

I suppose… but there are a few reasons I don’t recommend doing this. Firstly, I’m sure it’s against Amazon’s TOS. But more importantly, you will have less control over the timing and direction if you use a macro. It’s also not a hard combo (only 2-3 button presses).

vicious vs keen emp vs rouge on rapier for this build? I thought rogue was still bugged? Would you say the empower you get from all of the skills are enough that you should rather go for vicious ?

Hard to say and I personally haven’t tested all the perk combinations for rapier. But I will say the current rapier I use is very strong on damage and I steal agro on bosses pretty often on m10s even. The key is to get full arcane build.

@@tundra_nw been playing the build for couple hours and it is very fun! do you think arcane leeching purple ring is sufficient? what else to go for if cant get the hearty one?

@@erencalskan2349 yes that ring will work. U will eventually want full empowered runeglass in armor for an extra 10% arcane dmg and runeglass in weapon. Check my newest build guide video if you haven’t seen it yet. I cover a lot of stuff there

It stands for invulnerability frames and represents when your character can’t be punished or attacked. In new world a dodge has invulnerability during a dodge as well as during evade and riposte with the rapier.
