I try to avoid SEGA news most of the time, because they seem so anti-consumer. But title of this video gave me hope, this comment did not.

SA1/2 remake would HAVE to be ground up remakes because they probably don't even have the old code/assets and they'd be unusable with current hardware. The modern Sonic team would need to build everything from scratch without most of the original creators involved, so they're right to be intimidated. But once they have enough money and talent (Sega has been investing in them lately) it's definitely coming.

I'm trying not to think of it as "they didn't make any new Generations levels" and remind myself that all of Shadow Generations are the new levels. It's just hard not to see them as seperate releases.

For the Adventure remakes, I disagree on using the modern voice actors. With the exceptions of Colleen O’Shaughnessey as Tails and Mike Pollock as Eggman, they should really get some of the OG voice actors to return. Like Ryan Drummond as Sonic for example, along with David Humphrey as Shadow, Scott Dreier as Knuckles, Jennifer Douillard as Amy, Lani Minella as Rouge/Omochao, John St. John as Big, etc.

@@nickytembo4112a good amount of them just aren’t in Sega’s good graces anymore, which isn’t their fault it’s Sega’s for making decisions to pretty much screw them over and making relations worse than ideal. I would love for them to come back of course but yeah it doesn’t really seem likely with how things were handled back then

@@OmegaSon I wish they would find a common ground with that. So that us fans of the Adventure Era can truly enjoy authentic remakes with most of the correct voice actors. No offense, but I never cared for Roger Craig Smith’s Sonic voice at all. He makes Sonic sound too old. Ryan Drummond on the other hand, his Sonic voice was literal perfection. And he’s still got it, even in fan projects like "Sonic And Tails R". So, SEGA needs to make it happen, for the fans.

I mean, if you really think about it when it comes to time every second can be seen as separate space which means technically in sonic generations, sonic could’ve encountered a Sonic from 5 Seconds ago but he could remember that it would interfere with time flow an just have everything collapsed on itself so technically, yes, it is three hedgehogs
