Only problem is ..when people like you make guides and shares tips and tricks ... those tips and trick gets destroyed..because now "everybody" is doing it. Even the 1% will see this guide and start doing it , and now that 3 hours per day player wont have any advantage anyway as you keep telling :P Ever noticed how in many games a tip or trick get nerfed shortly after ( develloper also see the guide and learns the loop hole people use. ) ? or those "do this and get rich" in X game ? ya that only works until all starts doing it ! or buy these items they are OP..and then price skyrockets ! People who makes youtube guides are very nice ..sure .. but they are also often the reason tips and tricks suddenly doesn works either duo to nerf ...or simply because everybody now does it.

I love the crafting, and its been super beneficial. Im an armorer, and at lvl 20 have full heavy steel plate (building tank) 2 guys, also lvl 20, tried to gank me outside the mines i like, and it did not go well for them, as they had trouble doing meaningful damage to me xD

Note -- NEVER use those time gated material on gear unless you can max out everything else. If you don't have 3 houses with the right trophies -- and the right food -- etc. You don't want to use special mats to make GS 545 items.

well these videos are very bad for the guys not playing much tbh, because me, planning on no lifing (literaly) the game, seeing this, I'll adapt and abuse everything like this, so yeah kinda counter productive. Also people playing 1h a day don't watch videos to prepare let's be honest. Yes harvest you will get there eventually but you can also get them from fishing LOL literally just in reekwater its crazy. There is also orichalcum in a lot of zones even windsward and wire fiber etc all over. Beasts for skinning would be the only choke point as they need to be high level 50 ish

You can go to any town with the station yes! If they dont have it in the town you cant craft anything that requires a tier 5 station. Same logic for the lower ones!

@@tomoloto Repairs arent very expensive especialyl when your scrapping most of the stuff you get because equipment is heavy and may not sell in trade. Towns get a lot from taxes so its a non issue. Taxes are pretty low on houses even if you own 3, and you can just not pay the tax if you dont need that recall point.

In open beta i finished the beach and get first quest to go to your first town hand that in and dont accept the next quest then u can go to any town and should be lvl5, and just wear light armour and dodge roll cancel dont drain your stamina

I do have footage but I would recommend staying where you start until you get the quest to talk to the old man in the river which naturally takes you to windsward/center map at about lvl 9ish. From there is a good spot to meet up with friends!

The problem with getting to 200 in any Crafting Trade Skill that you actually need to be high character level in order to get the materials to make the crafts. And probably play the market and to do that you need a bankroll, and gold is a very limited resource in this before you have gotten a good way into the game. So a player who does not have a lot of time to play does not actually have a chance vs the 1% and that's perfectly fine imo. They shouldn't either, since the 1% committing so much time should be ahead in all aspects as a reward for putting in the time.

So you can craft 500gs items and ramp them up to 600gs and in rarity with skills, buffs etc! There is also legendary armor supposedly in the game but we have not seen it in any of the betas. Stats matter most not rarity!

All the materials, even the timed ones will lose it's value pretty much a month of two into launch when more and more people hit crafting cap and level cap. So sell early on, because later down the line the market will be flooded since you can level EVERY crafting skill.

I made 30k+ gold during the open beta and it was crazy. I did a simple thing, I bought T2 - T3 mat to craft them and sold my shit at the AH. Like 10 gold for each materials like plants, crafted potions and sold em at 90 gold each ^^ !

@@nicholasSewing there is no specific items, honestly i sold a lot of greens at the launch and i did that because i ran around all maps (to do every quest in a range of 5 - 10 levels). I sold many items on every AH and it made the difference i think. My highest sold item was a blue 330 ice gauntlet at 1500 gold (the perk was god) but it was at the end. You should watch craft items like potions, arrows, bullets or something else and check what you need to craft it (like saltpeter). And for my last advice, keep in mind that you need to be at a required level to equip your stuff ... so dont be afraid to sell your level 13 green 150g or 200g+ (depend stats) even if you see someone who sell level 15 items at 100g. Because try harders will always want to get the best items for their level :D

Casual players can enjoy/be competitive at pretty much all that the game has to offer at the moment, except maybe the 50v50 wars, since companies tend to recruit the best (which early on = highest level) players available for those high-stakes events. But you're not really missing out on that much, and could even be able to cement a spot there too, if you have good teamwork/communication skills, can follow orders and aren't trash at the game.

Which is sad, because New World is about taking your time and soaking it in as an old school sandbox MMO .... but sweat will always enjoy being sweaty, and there's nothing wrong with catering to that part of the market. I wholeheartedly agree that casual players are going to get the most enjoyment out of this game AND be competitive whilst doing it.

Hey Sethphir might you have some advice? I'm one who's drawn to the game exactly for the crafting/production/harvest end of things. But to do that one still has to be aware of and take down beasts/mobs for mats.. I'm a bit lost towards a build that would let me, a pve-er, survive relatively well on my own. I like the idea of the Caster side of the game, mostly as that tends to be my go-to in most MMOS.. That said I don't think beating wolves over the head with a Life staff would be very effective.. even if it would provide much comedic value. The Bow and Hatchet seem interesting.. but I'd rather not be spending gold if I can avoid it on respecing every time I go out into the world for mats vs going out for a dungeon or such. Any input would be appreciated.

Ice gauntlet and rapier combo is working pretty good for me. Spec all into int and some in con. Ice is good for cc for most mobs with pylon and the bubble and the ice block for def and mana regen. Rapier is good for animals since they are weak the thrust. I use the bleed skill, the flurry and dash. Sorry can’t remember the exact names lol

I feel bad for shattering your dreams and hopes, but it doesn't matter what you do, you have to play a lot in order to keep up. Every hardcore player will trade, farm, craft, kill, gather etc... If you play less, you cannot hope to end up on the same level as them. New world has only one currency, time played.

Uff I really don't like things in game being so time gated. Especially being able to play end game content. Thats why I stopped playing Genshin Impact. I hope the player base won't dwindle because people will be bored waiting around for cooldowns or just plainly get frustrated because it takes way to much time and effort to craft god tier stuff. Sure there will remain the hardcore players but still. Thanks for the great video.

You can force 590-600 gearscore range with the right buffs / houses etc. btw. So not quite as rare as 1:36000 I think.

Dungeon drops have already been buffed, def go for those dungeons at 60 people!!

Nah I'll just do the endgame content and elevate my life skills. It's not all about the levelling process. If I enjoyed levelling so much, I would just make another character so I could make 20 of these high value items daily instead.

Sure, how long will it take you to get 200 in all skills, reach the 500k gold cap (not long but you spend that money on assets anyway), get BiS gear, then theres always PvP and siege wars. Its like saying once you hit max level in league of legends you wont wanna play anymore.

My plan exactly! Let all the try hards play and get max level and be running non stop for best in slot. While my happy little blacksmith person will be selling that near best in slot item you want for a far exuberant price 😉 you need it I can craft it. Or you can get it BUUUUT we all know you won't and will just buy it 😂

That's just a lie.. the player who plays 16 hours can do wherever you do and then rush dungeons.. you just need to admit that who play more hours, learn more the game, will have better itens and probably will have better craft itens! If you don't have time, you don't have nothing!

Hmm I think I disagree Salus! Just like someone who spends 5 hours in the gym may not see any gains as opposed to the guy who does 30 mins effective workout with proper technique this may be the same case! Efficient time is the key here!

Completely true. Hardcore players arent all stupid. Do all you like in 30 mins of 'smart' playtime a day, I could mine 200,000 iron ore in 20 hours, already hitting gold cap in raw materials in a day. You arent competing with that with your buy orders that you certainly dont have the gold for to begin with.

Guys, if you really want to be a crafter, even you can sell those over 550 gs gears. Just don't sell them to other factions in the early game
