New World PvP! Scorpion Sting Spear Artifact with build!!

I accidentally put a musket build picture up at the start, here is the spear tree: nwdb.info/build?skills=10-k00...
Build: 300 dex, 100 strength, 200 con. Scorpion Sting artifact spear with lifering longsword/round shield. On the spear I put keenly jagged and on the sword I put empowering leaping strike. Opal gems on both weapons. Full light armor with 4 refreshing, 3 health, 4 enchanted ward and 1 bleeding sweep perk and shirking energy on the pants. Use Tumbler Feetwraps light artifact boots. 5 Onyx gems in armor and 3 ruby in trinkets for fire resistance. Make sure you are using mending stone form with this build for cc break and heals. I am still working on my trinkets but make sure you have stamina recovery and health on your amulet. Weapon builds are posted in the start of the video.
A lot of people are running shirking heals on armor and as of right now it is the most OP and BROKEN perk you can use. I stayed away from it because I am expecting it to get nerfed hard on the first balance patch. If you do choose to go shirking heals you want to run Ankh artifact amulet and put stamina recovery on it.

Hey man! Great build and great gameplay, but just one thing to mention/add - the follow up hit from sweep is considered a heavy attack (god knows why, but you can check on a dummy, so it also works with the scorpions sting perk) so i suggest removing one perk from the build and adding it into Refreshing Reach - helps you spam spears almost infinitely, it's really good, highly suggest it.

yeah in the spear tree it specifically says that the stab after sweep is a heavy attack. You can run plagued strikes with it and every time you sweep you get the plague with it!

For duels and 3v3s it would be very fun. In open world I will be using rapier with musket because I run no con on musket and I need the mobility:)

Cool build, what round shield you used? You wrote lifering sword/round shield but I can’t find on Nwdb life ring round shield😅

You pretty much just want to get any high level round shield that has a couple good stats till you can figure out exactly what stats you want on it.

I put the spear tree up in the description, sorry about the mistake. I will have 3 pieces of azoth though since refreshing caps at 4 then will have to craft 1 piece.

please tell me from whom did you knock your sword? Today I farmed baines for 2 hours and nothing similar fell from it.

The sword can drop from 2 bosses in the same spot when they spawn. I am posting you a link, the boss spawns in 2 spots. Make sure you go to the south one and just sit there and farm and you will get the sword. I hope this helps! nwdb.info/db/creature/wolf_elemental_earth_named_14ac11b_elite

Why dont you get the 2nd perk for javelin to cause knockdown on javelin hit?

The new Scorpion Sting artifact already knocks down with the javelin so it would just be a wasted perk. I tested it over and over and it does not extend the time on the knockdown that the spear itself already applies.

Plagued crits. It’s pretty much a requirement for fighting shirking heals players and killing healers.

It’s nice, but the armor you get from being able to wear medium pieces is better for this build in my personal opinion (I run the same thing, great gameplay!)

@@denniscarlsen6626 the 15% shirking empower with no internal cd can put you at empower cap quick and makes your burst a lot better. Tbh medium is a lot stronger with ss spear but I just love the light dodge.

I will have a musket build up very soon. I started on melee this time because getting gear now requires doing pve and musket sucks for pve. I will be working on my musket soon and posting pvp vids with that!
