New World PvP - Tank Mode - SnS/GreatSword - Heavy Armor - Outpost Rush

I jumped into OPR to level up the Serenity Greatsword Artifact. I'm a little rusty as tank but as you can see with the right gear and keeping my shield up I can absorb a crazy amount of damage as I am out front and out numbered! I start playing pretty recklessly and die a few times after about 8 minutes, because its OPR, who cares!?
Gear and build at the end I was running 350 con with food buffs. I will be making more builds and vids this week. Enjoy!

Love this build im playing almost same with 700gs and gems with onyx lifesteal in armor and lifesteal ring and perk :D awesome for unkillable

I just started playing the Game. How do i get Gears like you have? With the perks and such. Also the Transmog looks dope af!

You gotta get 65 first thats for sure! Then you will have to look up the pieces of gear you want on nw database and maybe do crafting. Or you can do what I did and keep playing the pvp modes until it gives you the gear randomly on the pvp track. my firestaff build was the most work, the other builds I got the gear for free from just doing tons of pvp

I was using a i7-8700k processor, 32gb ram, ssd, and RTX 3060 graphics card when I recorded this. I upgraded to an i5-12400k which I am disappointed in, it plays the game better but bad at recording. Probably going to send it back for a newer i7 processor

the thing is, with tanks and support builds, its so dependent on ur team, and the luck of the draw in opr.. like u only really get value outta a tank like this, when the team knows how and follows up with damage, and/or uses the advantages the heavy tank has to ofer(like defensive formation perk f.e.) otherwise u r just a moving target and punchig bag.. and even if u stay alive, u dont bring much value to the team. if u have a healer + 1 lite dps playa, and u play together, then u can wreck whole groups and have a blast

It’s always the luck of the draw with your team in opr. Personally I feel like holding right click to block isn’t that hard. I spent a lot more time learning how to actually secure a kill as a DPS player than I did learning how to play tank.

Would be nice to see a dps without healer holding point against 4 guys until the team comes, tanks value is more than u think
