I called this mobo "winchester" because the build.py script had that name reserved for 7th SMC type. The author of that code is cOz, maybe he was the one who named all mobo types :)

In regards to motherboard naming, I believe (not really sure though, heard that was how the Corona name was known.) it comes from the SDKs. As for winchester, it has been known for quite a while. (Its name was added in Xebuild 1.00 as an unused option back in 2011)

For people that are gonna buy a slim console to get nodded I would not get the corona, go for a trinity so you can get duel NAND they also boot faster

For PHATs Jaspers all the way, to fix the disk drive not opening just open the console and put a very small amount of WD40 around where it opens and clean your console of dust every once in a while then you will run fine

My opinion is still the same so far as it was in my 6 month update: Both consoles are still lackluster and the Wii U has Mario Kart 8.
