Amigos, se llegó el tiempo en noviembre del 2017 salió el Genos, Ahora anuncia Yamaha que viene algo nuevo, el 15 de Noviembre 2023, Lo único que se vio fueron los mismos botones del Genos, así que , el tan esperado Genos 2 está más cerca que nunca, es indiscutible

If not Genos 2, could be Montage 2 because that Montage M sure did miss the mark with its lack of innovation and anti-consumer design and marketing. Imagine if this is Genos 2 with 76 keys and PolyAT…nah, not even Yamaha would be so stupid…or would they?

Montage m did miss poly at for the smaller versions but otherwise they kick ass. Maybe Yamaha will bring poly at.

Here is why I don’t believe this is Genos 2! The power button/switch in Yamaha’s case are always on the back of their flagship keyboards. And remained on the back of the new Montage M. So I don’t think they they would add a lesser substantial power button to mk2 version?

Yamaha Genos (Standby/On) switch is on the front panel if you haven't noticed !!!! This is without any doubt, the all new Yamaha Genos 2

Hört sich nicht viel versprechend an, und die Klaviatur ist wieder nicht gewichtet. Gehäuse ist wahrscheinlich auch wieder Plastik. Ich geh mit Korg Pa5x Musikant 88 Tasten. Kein Bock weitere 7 Jahre zu warten, bis Yamaha Verbesserungen macht. Sorry, Yamaha, ich verabschiede mich.

We need light weight we carry it 3 times a week 6 install uninstall equivalent. It’s an overkill. 13kg or less is ok!

Well, think on Yamaha's as a giant company that if you want a fully weighted keyboard with all the styles and what comes with it, they have the Yamaha Clavinova CVP-909 series which derives form the Yamaha Genos. Korg on has a Pa5x 88 for the reason that there line up is very small and have no product compared with the Yamaha CVP-900 series. Also, the Genos is design for gig's, recording studios and composition's in a one man band style ... Auf Wiedersehen !!!

CVP 900 kostet 6000 -10000 Euro, das ist das Geld nicht wert, schon der Genos ist überteuert. Ich würde mir vielleicht die CVP Instrumente anschauen, wenn die wenigstens ein Pitch Bend hätten. Aber die haben kein Pitch Bend und kosten viel zu viel. So authentisch ist Yamaha auch nicht im Klang, dass ich da bis 10000 Euro ausgebe, das kostet mehr als mein Auto. Die hätten wenigstens ein Modul anbieten können. Ich kauf mir einfach den Nachfolger vom sx900 dazu, wahrscheinlich wird das der sx 910 sein und den Pa5x Musikant und dann bin ich bestens versorgt.

it is - same power button, volume knob and the octave-button as on Genos 1. no other instrument got this ;-) and its already listed in the yamaha warranty database.

@@andy70d35- Back when Yamaha stopped producing the Motif… There was a description change… The Montage was a Music Synthesizer AND the Genos was a Digital Workstation. To me, it means that they updated the Genos to be a better workstation, since they are emphasizing the word workstation. I hope so!!! We will know more by November 15th, 2023!!!

Mire fel ez a nagy titkolózás? Legalább egy hiteles képet mutathatnának már, hiszen ,valójában lassan egy éve tudjuk már a KZbin-ról hogy fog kinézni. ( a PA5X után nem kell hozzá nagy fantázia) Gondolom, nem a kinézete az egyetlen újdonság, amit szenzációnak szánnak, mert ha igen, akkor az elég nagy baj lesz. 14 hozzászólás
