I love my Lykke copper ones! Did you all know that the cords from lantern moon that swivel fit them and all of your Knitters Pride needles ?? I bought all new swivel cords even for my Tunisian crochet interchangeable hooks.

OH MY GOODNESS! I COMPLETELY know what you mean about the breathing issue with certain yarns... I thought I was going crazy, but some acrylics give me a puffy scratchy feeling on the back of my tongue and trouble with my breathing. I keep thinking I am so bumming out if I can't use a bunch of a yarn stash I purchased. Thank you for your amazing podcasts! I enjoy your content, your fun energy and honesty too. So cool! I’m actually looking for yarns that don’t have that weird residue on it that makes it hard to breathe… I know I’m extra sensitive but I have noticed that coating on certain Premier, Lion brand, and Hobbii yarns. It’s like some sort of softener on it and comes off on my hands too, makes them feel slick. I’m thinking I need to start crocheting wearing a face mask or something. Even some yarns that used to not have it now do which is really irritating like my most recent order of coboo. Ugh!

I did the Secret Santa bag for the first...and last time this year. Got everything you did except the last three skeins. I got a bag of 4 skeins of beige cotton. Except for the Pound of Love, I put everything else in our CGOA chapter's January yarn swap. I was so glad other members too ALL of it. I'm making a baby blanket with Pound of Love that is coming out very thick with zero drape. I'm hoping soaking it with hair conditioner and then blocking it resolves that.

The Thick and Quick is great. Doesn't take much to make a hat or cowl!! Can't believe they still have the Straw color. I think they literally gave it in every bag! Nice free score. *did you get the Schitts Creek just recently ? It was 6 for $12. I got a ton!!

What a nice surprise and excellent customer service! I bought one ball of the Go for Faux yarn before Christmas but havent got around to using it yet. I’m thinking it will be nice for a faux fur trim or gift wrap “ribbon” for my niece’s birthday gift. She can use it for hair bows, too, which are really popular now. Your Tequila Sunrise sweater is looking pretty. I’m currently working on a cardigan for one of my nieces. We have four January birthdays in our family (my twin and myself and two nieces) and they’re all very crochet worthy so it’s a good excuse to cozy up and crochet on this frosty Saturday. ❤️

I've never ordered the Santa Sacks. I'm not big on paying for surprises. I usually know what I want to make, and what yarn I will need. I remember seeing people trying to find that faux fur during Christmas in their local stores, and it was nowhere to be found. I'm sure they will be envious of you.

I ordered 2 Santa sacks from LB in 2022 and they only sent me 1 and that one was all limited edition yarn. Was not happy. Crazy that even a year later they are still putting that crap yarn in Santa sacks. Wonder if that “limited edition” yarn will be a staple in Santa sacks

Huh. They can send you one by accident, but bunches of us were told it was sold out back in November. Lion used to be my go to, but I switched to bernat and caron years ago. The yarn is softer.

I love Lionbrand yarns. I made my husband hats from Wool Ease before he passed away. They were his favorites. I use a lot of Lionbrand yarb and right now am working on a crochet afgan with some Joann's Big Twist (color - Freelance) and Lionbrand Pound of Love (color - Straw 😂).

You can turn on captions for any you tube video I think most creators are using captions (I have auditory sensory processing disorder issuyas an autistic maker) at least the app has that option when content makers don’t caption videos (ableism)

I think you're referring to the seed stitch, which is what I used on the red scarf. It's just K1P1 all the way along, each row. Super simple and great results! ;)
