I just chuckled when you mentioned The Hunt-Man was doing laundry at 6am on New Year’s Day. He is a man dedicated to his goals! Our younger son is currently a high school Asst Principal. But when he was earning his first credential, he worked part-time in the classroom with kids on the spectrum. All were verbal, but he learned a ton about working around the challenges and earning their trust. I tip my hat to you folk. Tons of work, even though I’m sure it has its own rewards.

Missed the live feed by about 25 minutes. We have tons of natural gas here in Indiana and it’s pretty cheap to heat with. We have so much natural gas that some of the old farm houses have natural gas lamps in the house. We even have some properties that have their own gas well And runs pretty much everything in their house off their private gas well

I have my grandson with ADHD who generally sleeps to maybe 8 or 9 if he stays up past his normal bedtime. Funny never have to tell him to go to bed he is generally already there about 8:00 pm. He does have his own mind about when he should do projects. At 19 he is a good kid who generally takes good care of his stuff "lol" but that is a teenager. Get on taking care of your cold or sinus' that is not what you want for the New Year!! Hope your HQ or whatever you name it. Have a great one Morgans!!!

Sorry but I was in bed by 9:45 last night. Pretty quiet here in Red Boiling Springs, TN. We are in Clay County in Tennessee. We have a population of less than 9,000 in the county so it's not a party town, lol. We are 45 minutes from a larger town and an hour and a half from Nashville. Happy New Year guys!

Hey Mike, I had an early appointment this morning so I missed you live, but I never miss your videos. Late is better than not at all. Great to see you on the first day of 2025. I hope you stay well and your cameras stay on this year. I've been following you for a long time and I'm in no way ready to stop seeing you. Good, Real life content, is the best, and that's what you give us. Perfect. Working on holidays - I most certainly did!! The extra pay was too good to turn down. In my early days at Corning, I ran a tape slitter. Copper spools, 48 inches wide, loaded on the payoff pulled through blades that cut it into much smaller widths that was wrapped around the cable to help insulate it. After it was cut, it had to be loaded into a huge round, tall container, sealed and annealed for 8 to 12 hours. No way could it be completed in one shift. I was the only one, so after the tape was annealed, I would come back to the plant, walk in, punch the clock, walk back to the annealers, drop the tanks, walk back to the punch clock and punch out. 10 to 15 min, but that paid 4 hours of overtime pay. I miss the money, but I love retirement more. Hey, I got a $40 a month raise on my SS. Life is good. Thanks for today's live video. I love your talks and stories. From North Idaho, got up late this morning and my wife was watching your live stream, so I just missed it. I haven't opened my 4lb fire starter bag from last year yet, still finishing up a prior 4lb bag. I use about a 1/2 handful each time I start a fire (which is everyday in the winter). Just curious what the process is for making the fire starter, would you let us know? Currently snowing here (1-2" today) some more tomorrow, then probably some rain/snow mix for a while.

Good morning Mike. I'm about 25 miles NE of Kalamazoo, in Hope township Michigan. I guess I need to turn on the notifications. I've been watching your videos for many years and subscribed. I usually watch the sun come up while drinking my morning coffee. I'm beginning to realize how much work you do to get all these videos out to us. My wife and I finally started our KZbin channel about 3 months ago. I have a Cooks Super Wide Sawmill. We burn firewood, and we are retired but my wife and I are building our own new house.
