#1: Started with Awakening and the only older game I have played thus far is Sacred Stones (and Gaiden if Echoes counts) so I definitely plan to make this a piority starting with Blazing Sword. I would also like to play Path of Radiance but I’m not going to pay over $100 just to do that. Seriously Nintendo when will GameCube VC be a thing?#2: Doesn’t apply.#3: Couldn’t agree more.#4: Really want to do one but I just need to think of an idea that hasn’t been overdone. #5: I can’t draw for shit.#6: Uh ..... It's amazing how the former mindset has held me back so much in the past and now. I want to change this mindset that has festered in me for over a decade. I'll work slow. Resolution 7: Play and know the beauty that is Bootleg Emblem for Gameboy Color. No, seriously. There's a Chinese bootleg FE game for gameboy color. It's like a weird ammalgomation of all of the Kaga games. And it's surprisingly good. Worth a shot if you've played the other games already.

ZerkMonsterHunter 4 It's a really unique experience. All the characters are from FE4 and FE5 (Leif's the protagonist for instance) but sometimes miscolored. The inventory system is like Gaiden in that there's no durability, but it otherwise uses Thracia's system. It uses FE2 sprites. The first map is extremely similar to FE1's first map. It has a skill system, most of which share the same effect and name as FE4 and FE5 skills. But it has a few unique mechanics. First levels. You always get 4 points, and you pick the stats to go up. Another one is the SP stat. Skills require SP to use, and you get 1 SP back per turn. The max SP stat of a unit can be raised like any other stat. It's not strategically complex, but it's neat.

I’m currently playing Awakening and Conquest (already beat birthright and revelations- to be fair I could only afford one or the other at the time) and Warriors. I would love to get into drawing FE characters (well just drawing in general), I'm just not completely confident in my skills and being a lazy ass about it. I already have every rom of the Japanese exclusive FE's it's just a matter of getting around to playing them. At this point in time I also have every western released FE either physical or Virtual Console, except for the Tellius games. Hopefully IS will give us a virtual console release of those games at some point. With Heroes' popularity now seems like the best time to bring back those games. I'm not dropping a crazy amount of Canadian cash on those games. (Not yet anyway) Hopefully I can beat all the games I do have in the 2018 time limit. I'm pretty sure the character is a thot if she blinks in your direction, you can't convince me otherwise /s Challenge run, my 2nd playthrough of Awakening hard mode with no reset. This will be fun. I'd like to try to complete at least all of the main series games (since I haven't played 2-5, 10, and 12) so I'm doing an ironman run on every game. Made it to chapter 6 of the first game and have only lost Sedgar so far. My play style is sort of a self-imposed challenge because I use everybody (I take the lowest leveled characters to each chapter and usually restart if anybody dies) and that gets really difficult on the games where you can't grind. Because of my playstyle, I've only beaten 7, 8, 11, 13, and 14 so far.

Well, I spent most of 2017 playing every single main Fire Emblem game localized so I think I'm disqualified from 1,2, and 4, I'm not sure what conversation I could have with friends and bring up thot naturally, I can draw stick figures and nothing else, and I don't own any spin-offs. So I'll just go with the renegade option and make a custom resolution; avoid playing any Fire Emblem game until FE Switch is released and play other Intelligent Systems TRPGs that I've barely touched in the meantime (Advance Wars and Code Name: S.T.E.A.M.).

I wish Intelligent Systems would make a New Years Resolution to not have any special units from Fates or Awakening. For fucks sake, is it really that hard to make a Special Marth? You guys make a new Marth EVERY GAME. IT ISN'T HARD. Or y'know, maybe give the spotlight to OTHER units. Like I would honestly be fine seeing a special version of Gunter or Donnel. But it's literally only ever these characters: Chrom, Robin, Corrin, Xander, Camilla, Lucina, Takumi, Sakura, Lisse, Henry, Thotja, Leo, Elisse, Gaius., or Frederick.
