As an Asian living in Asia, we love our Asian movies as much as we love Hollywood movies, but not together. The Asian film making process is very different from Hollywood and film makers like Jackie Chan has said before that the amount of rules and regulations in Hollywood is a hindrance to his film making process where he can just grab a camera and film it anyway he likes, he can jump off buildings with no guy in a suit telling him he can't. We also don't care about Asians in Hollywood movies, we literally only have Asians here in our own movies.

Yes, I specifically used Jackie Chan as an example because he is the one Asian filmmaker who has worked with Hollywood the most, and yet even he himself still doesn't fully embrace this Asian - Hollywood relationship.

Well, Americans are less exposed to Asian cultures and people than countries where the population consists of mainly Asian people, and it could be interesting to see a Hollywood movie directed by an Asian director. The whole thing with studios imposed rules when it comes to creative freedoms are stifling, however, letting your big star just jump around buildings is a big liability.

3:48- Sam Claflin, Robert Sheehan, Charlie Heaton, Natalie Dormer, Pearl Mackie: all extremely talented actors whom I'd love to see make it big. Also, well-established names from TV or theater like Lin-Manuel Miranda, David Tennant and Lena Headey that should start starring in films as well. And of course there are plenty of amazing, established film stars like Jennifer Lawrence and Tom Hiddleston whom I want to see headline loads of films as well.

My wished for Hollywood in 2018: - Small name directors doing big Hollywood Blockbusters (Just like what Marvel's doing) - Stop Sexual Allegation Assaults - Reboot the Universal Monster Movie Franchise, make each movie stand on their own, make them into R-Rated 3D Action Horror Comedies. But hey, I've got an idea on a reboot of THE MUMMY. - Don't Reboot the DC Extended Universe, the WB Execs. need to keep their hands off these movies. - A VR Headset that allows a person to see their fan projects as a movie, that also includes their fan cast, crew members, and technical aspects to be seen through the VR Headset, then placed onto a USB, and released on the big screen. This only applies to movies that Hollywood would never make. - Let the video game nerds direct video game movies, because they know all the source material.

No more creepy, slowed-down song covers in movie trailers! It's predictable, cliche and has been a parody of itself for over a year. Instead, use cool new under-the-radar music instead and make it your own. I hated the Clash of the Titans remake, but the trailer was amazing because they took "The Bird and the Worm" by The Used and perfectly choreographed everything to it. Also, aughties-style choral pieces are excellent as well.

I don’t get the idea that you need to miss a franchise to enjoy it more. With TV shows that air 10-24 episodes a year, for weeks straight without a break, does that ruin enjoyment because you get it so often? A year between films is still a long time. And as for Marvel, even if you get three films a year they typically star different characters. This year we had Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Thor: Ragnarok. They did not have overlapping characters. It’s not like we had 3 Thor movies in one year. Sure, we had seen Spidey and Iron Man in a movie just a year prior but the films were different and had a different focus.
