NEW YORK CHEESECAKE RECIPE

New York cheese cake → 250 gr biscuit, crash it, refrigerate, mix 125 gram melted butter, put it on tray, flatten, refrigerate for about 30 minutes, in a mixing bowl put 500 gram of cream cheese, 2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 cup of sugar, mix until smooth & creamy, add 2 tbs of lemon juice to the mixture, 300 gram of sour cream, fold it in, take the refrigerated tray with bread crumbs and place the mixture in, bake it for 1 hr &15 mins or @ 340 to 350°F or 170°C, leave it to cool in the oven for 3 hrs with door slightly open, after 3 hrs put it in the fridge & leave overnight & it's ready to eat. thx 4 posting, trying this.

Honestly, I regret wasting my cream cheese and time on this recipe. Easily the least delicious cheesecake I've made, compared to the other recipes with eggs. It was the first and last eggless cheesecake I'll be baking. Now I need to go through a whole week to finish it.

KnightMD yeah bad recipe, eggsit gives it the the smooth but still firm texture with the flour, the eggs yolk help emulsify the dairy so it can mix well with the other ingredients, they put eggs or emulsifier in ice cream to help it stay smooth. This recipe may not allow the sugar and flavours to distribute evenly and the texture may feel mushy.
