Metrical system so comfortable and logical - degrees of Celsius, kilogram, meter - that`s all. a liter- 1000 cubical santimeters. Water boil on 100 C, freeze on 0C. You can calibrate your meat thermometrer in water with ice - inside a glass you will have near 0C))
