But you don't choose that. Vrabel does. Giants have fired four coaches in the last decade. I highly doubt they'll top anyone's list of dream employers. Coaches and GMs look at owners first, and to me Mara is now in stiff competition with Woody Johnson for being the worst owner in the NFL. If anyone else at all is interested in Vrabel, he's going there.

Mara’s criteria is whether the team is moving forward or backward. 2022 was a great surprise, but since then it has been one embarrassing loss after another. Plus, former players are thriving elsewhere. The sad thing is this team will likely get worse, and there’s a very good chance that Barkley breaks the NFL rushing records when the Giants visit.

We were never gonna win with Jones, let’s be honest about that. There is a feeling of hope now that our QB situation is changing. I could not sit thru another season of not being competitive & Jones was a big part of the losing. We gave him 6 years & the Giants won 1 playoff game with Jones at QB. In that season when everyone wants to say Jones played great he threw 12 TD passes & 10 picks. That is pedestrian at best. Where were the Giants ever going to go with Daniel Jones at the QB position? I think fans just like to root for Jones because everyone was always poking fun at this QB. I am sick of Jones & I’m excited that he is no longer on the Giants.

Firing Schoen would be stupid. Bro only been around for a second. If we gave Gettleman 5 years then we're giving Schoen the same amount of time. You have to give him a chance at getting HIS QB and allowing his players to actually develop. Our best players Dex and Thomas didn't reach their potential until Year 3 and 4 respectfully.

Yes. If the Giants aren't also firing John Mara there's no point firing Schoen. He only has a job because Mara now can't find a competent GM due to his own incompetent meddling. Anyone who has a choice will not be going to the Giants now while Mara is there, which means all the good coaches and managers. It's the way the Redskins used to have it while Dan Snyder was the owner. Mara = Snyder; enjoy!

Either QB at the top should still be better than DJ. Maybe they won’t be Jayden Daniel’s. Doesn’t matter, be better than what we’ve had for 6 years

Owner meddling with the QB position. That has been the problem with the Giants for more than a decade. As for DJ he should never have been drafted as high as he was and should never have been extended. And once you did and he was still mediocre at best he had to go now because of the injury guarantee. If it wasn't for that he'd have played out the year. If he stayed and got hurt on top of everything else, that's 2025 down the drain as well. A decade of mistakes and an owner who is now renowned for meddling. That's your problem. If you fire Schoen, no good GM is coming to this team. Same thing with Daboll. No one with any other option will want to work for Mara where you can't speak your mind or make sound football decisions because Mara is cramming a mediocre QB someone else hired down your throat.

Schoen compared to Mahomes and John Allen after his playoff win, not Mara. My confidence in Mara grew after watching Hard Knocks - even all the way back in 2004 he told the story which sounded like he wanted to draft Big Ben straight up instead of trading away all of that draft capital for Eli. Accorsi didn't want to because Ben want to a small school. Big Ben would have been the right pick.
