Just bumped into your videos (I'll tell how shortly), you are an excellent reviewer! New York Intense is top shelf stuff for me. I liked New York, but it was too light on my skin. I blind bought a 30 ml bottle of New York Intense in 2015, which was supposed to be closer to vintage New York. At that time I was 29 and living in Phoenix. The photo of the bottle you have in the video thumbnail - that's my photo which I uploaded on Basenotes. I wore it for at least 10 times before I was able to love it. I finished that bottle in a year, and currently have close to 250 ml of it. I like both Pour Monsieur EdT and Equipage, but they don't have that depth and complexity. Greetings from Toronto!

Ny Intense is an amazing masculine fragrance. It smells fresh and clean and has a mens shaving foam kinda vibe going. It's very easy to wear also. You can wear this anywhere.

@@ACSmellsGood I tested it today. It's definitely a masculine scent, but its very basic. It reminds me of the cheapest shaving foam I used to buy for around 1 euro. It's pleasent, not too overpowering, but I've smelled cheap old spice that smell more intriguing and interesting. I think its way too pricy for what it is. Maybe I need to give it more time. Some fragrances need more time --- like Oud for Greatness I didn't like at all at first, but with time I learned to appreciate it.

@@ACSmellsGood Don't remember if i told you but lunar is a bit strong at first but give it about 15 minutes... sit back and enjoy the magic! One of the rare occasions where I've ever smelled a fragrance and immediately bought a full bottle before putting the decant down! Lol.... It's hands down the greatest vetiver fragrance ever made. Two sprays lasts for days on my clothes.

Hello AC. The new camera is outstanding. Very crisp and rich image. The sound quality is great as well. The auto focus did not pick up the vial clearly when you held it up, but that may be due to the limited time it was in the frame. There could also be different settings for how the camera prioritizes focal points. I would read the manual thoroughly as the default setting may be a "mosaic" or wide area focus. More than likely there is a "center balanced" setting that may help with that. Very elegant, and well thought out review. Full stop, as they say!

Thanks for the feedback on the A/V my friend. Yeah this Camera has a lot of settings which I am trying to understand. The focus I am using is Continuous Face tracking which is the latest Canon AI thing but it does allow 2 other settings which I will try out in the future videos. Actually this Camera is a lot of fun for both still and video photography.

Love the new camera and audio setup-excellent quality. I too really enjoyed sampling NYI, and found that its opening reminded of another classic: Eau Sauvage. The dry down differs significantly, borrowing more from the chypres you mentioned. Definitely a well composed scent I may have to pickup one day. As always, thanks for your thoughts!

Picture and sound quality are on point, I've smelled it few months back and it was same opening like you described in this review and I quite liked that. As you said it's costly that's definitely a downside for me. €170 is a huge amount for 100ml. Overall great review sir.

Got a sample vial from a friend and I agree it's mature and well composed. I'm 43 yrs old and can definitely relate it to others I've smelled in the past but nontheless a really nice creation. Sound and picture quality were both good imo. Take care.

Picture and sound are better and nice. Review was great as always: detailed and comprehensive while efficiently presented. Unreal (as usual?) have a sample of NY Intense on the way from ebay (with Penhaligon's Sartorial purchase finally!) as of yesterday. Had to check the hype; couldn't find a Cuir Cuba Intense sample; planned on buying a Nicolai frag on principle - woman power! Aside: Liked Blue De Chanel Parfum way more than edp (can't do melon) or edt. May get a bottle or larger decant to go with my small but powerful and Bleu-less Chanel collection. Congrats on the upgraded equipment!

I wear it four days a week. For a workplace/inclusive perfume that does not induce my coworkers to cringe I have had great luck with it. And it has enough of an 'old school' vibe to make me feel comfortable. Many of the newer niche/designer scents these days leave me less then inspired.

Thanks for this video. You're right about the hype this fragrance has been getting, not only on Instagram but also in the Facebook groups. I've tested it more than 5 times in a bid to understand the hype. It has amazing quality, no doubt, but it smelt a lot like Dior Eau Sauvage EDP (2017 version without the heavy dose of myrrh). So, I agree with your review in its entirety. The new camera performs well. Great job.
