Look at how fired up Robby was at 1:09 and how they mobbed him. THAT right there, thats team chemistry Not to mention how sweet it mustve felt for Lehner to clinch on home ice after a near shutout of the team that tossed him aside because of his mental issues and substance abuse problems.

islanders are such a great story. they make the playoffs for the first time in a long time, then they kinda fall off, lose their captain. but just when everyone thought they were dead they picked themselves up, got to the playoffs in a division spot and swept the penguins in the playoffs. even tho they lost to the canes in the 2nd round, they went on to have 2 semi final appearances over the next 2 years, they even took tampa to game 7 in the semi finals, the only team to do better than the isles against tampa was colorado in the last playoffs. the great news is they are doing better than the rangers and that stanley cup window is wide open for them, the team is literally built for playoffs. but as we saw last year, that doesnt matter if you dont make the playoffs.

Vegan Kool Klux Kliq most isles fans hate Barclays, seats suck, in some spots you can’t see from the blue line back, it’s horrible, some seats aren’t even facing the ice.

Traffic sucks to go to Brooklyn from Long Island. I always have to buy a train ticket to get there, which I don't do anymore because when the Islanders are playing in Long Island, it's easier to get there
