At the end also you can hear the MSG crowd chanting “you can’t beat us” as The Rangers has won every game against the Islanders this season, 6 game sweep. This was the 5th game. And the Rangers were awful in 2003-04, terrible team but had the Isles number for sure

Messier always cheapshoted the European players or anyone 5ft 2in or under. Anytime a tough guy challenged the coward he would back skate and hide behind the refs or teamates. Just watch when Larry Robinson wanted to pummel him, he was so afraid he was swinging his stick while backing away, with no intention to go with Larry. On another note, Rosen and JD were the biggest, HOMERS ever.

@@JakeW26 Not really, Here are few things that suck : Trapozoid zone, new obstruction rules leave defencemen clueless of how stop a player because they are afraid to get a penalty, suspensions when you fight during the last 5 minutes, Shootout killed the Penalty shot, Goalies go down on their knees when the play is the corner and they allow goals due to being down all the time - compare that to 2005
