Martin Biron recently talked about this and he said that, right before they locked up, Emery said, :"Just stay calm. I'm not really going to punch you." and he meant it in a good way. Being a former boxer, he knew it wasn't a fair fight and laids off. So, credit to Emery. RIP

Sabres fan, I've never watched this brawl from the Ottawa feed before, so that was interesting! I miss the good ol days of the Sabres and hockey in general. It was clearly Ray Emery's dream to get into a goalie brawl in the NHL, I'm glad Marty Biron gave him the opportunity to live out that dream.
