New York Jets' 2025 NFL Draft Position: Win or Lose for Better Future?

As a Jet fan I want to see the Jets win as many games as they can. Draft position doesn't matter that much. Jets have missed on good players drafting early and Kansas City, 49ers, and Pittsburgh draft later and manage to find some good players. Wilson will probably want to go to another team. Jets need to turnover as many players as they can. The vast majority of Jet players probably don't want to be with the team. Maybe the new regime will want a turnover or maybe not. Don't forget, a big problem with the Jets is coaching. Players have given up on the season. Happy New Year John Butchko. May 2025 be good for you and your family. Rex Ryan could not oversee a rebuild.

John, your point is well taken, however, the Jets for some unknown reason have been notorious for developing young talent. Most of the time is because they don't allow these guys to get in the lineup. Corley is the latest example of this.

There is a point in tanking to trade down and get two picks for one. We could trade let`s say 5th for late first and second rounder for instance, This draft is going to be rebuild of defense and finding a proper TE and usable WR. We need picks. I am sorry we did not loose to Jaguars.

Players generally don’t want to tank, especially if they want a job elsewhere next year. The coaching staff may have the same mindset.
