yes telephone equipment has lots of uses for experiment type people like myself (carbon microphones from old rotary phones receiver speakers etc ) can be obtained for free sometimes or little money at flee markets

lyle hall yeah i'm a little bit of an amateur tinker myself but im pretty new to it. so far i deconstructed some old calculators and headphones to make battery powered speakers (with crudely attached solar pannels)
