I absolutely love what you touched on in your closing. Yes, pageantry is an channel through which young ladies learn to dream. I wasn't the smartest. I wasn't the sharpest. I wasn't the fastest. I was the athletic one. But pageants allowed me to hone my skills of being confident, poised, feminine, graceful, and elegant. When a young woman taps into those things, she sees other gifts, talents, and skills that were not as visible before. Pageantry can have lifelong impacts. ❤ Great video.

I have been a hugeee Taylor Hale fan after she won Big Brother so it was so sad and crazy to hear about what happened to her at Miss USA. I'm glad though that she didn't let it ruin her overall experience, but so crazy more people are not talking about all these scandals...

So I saw the documentary as well as other video recaps and stayed up to date when the “scandal “ broke on social media . R’bonney winning universe was the ultimate karma to all those haters claiming it was rigged . And. That one contestant that was the ring leader was such a bully. The documentary basically stated that they were upset and jealous that rbonney had a shoot for the spa before the pageant when in reality the sponsor had used her in years past for promo. Just sour grape people mad they didn’t win . Can’t imagine how hard it must’ve been for rbonney with no support going into universe.

It is interesting to me people in the comments are so quick to say it was sour grapes or haters. There were various very obvious conflicts of interest detailed in the documentary. No decent lawyer or ethics committee would have allowed some of the things that happened. Was it Enough to rig the results? That's unclear. The spa was the least of their concerns - She, along with a majority of the top finalists, PAID for coaching services from the woman who owns the organization and gets the final say about who wins. This, along with her knowing a judge even if he allegedly had no impact on the outcome.. are not indications of a fair pageant.

Ok, that's really cool. It would be spectacular if I could have you as a coach. However, money is tight, but I am saving my money for MissTeen USA (state) competition. Sorry, I dont want to put that info out their though I truest you. Also, working out for months. Do you know how much it normally is to enter the pagent and cover the fees, or how much do we need in sponsorships, I know it cost different for every stat which is why the info I've found it so scattered in price range.

Considering that there was talk about favoritism shown toward R'Bonney I'm dying to know what the big deal is about this woman. I'm sure she's lovely and a very decent woman, but I never got the hype surrounding her. She wasn't in my top five at Miss USA and definitely not in my top 5 at MU. If one person has such an effect on an organisation, it takes the fun right out of it.

I would imagine that the President would have the final say as to which Accountant Firm to hire. Crystal Stewart was the President from 2020-2022, and she doesn’t remember who she hired. 🤔 It’s not like 10 years have passed.

Well, the sexual allegations were all that I cared about. Glad you covered it. If they rigged it for R’bonney they picked the winner that most had 4 weeks to win before the finals.! She went in as number 1 and came out as number 1!

Miss Earth 2015 in Austria has 8 foreign judges against 1 Filipina judge which Angelia won the pageant with her slogan "We will because we can.". Miss Earth 2017 has more foreign judges than Filipino judges and Karen was sick at that time of the finals. Also there is SGV as an official tabulator.
