It usually takes me about 20 hours to drive from NYC to Miami. If I get "detoured" to Buc-ee's it then takes me 22 hours! LOL. What an amazing place. With a full tank of gas without wait or stress, use of the cleanest bathrooms and some refreshments...all ready to drive another 10 hours as if I had just started my drive.

Buc-ee's is like a tourist attraction, and the beaver mascot is so cute! The ActionKid is overwhelmed by the multitude of items at the " convenience " store .. The farm states feature the " Kum & Go " stores with similar specialities to lure in weary travelers. Excellent shop ! 🐼

Buc-ee's has some of the best road food around! The brisket sandwich, the roasted nuts, the jerky, the fudge, the beaver nuggets...it's all SO GOOD

Not sure if you noticed but Bucees does not provide tables & chairs to eat on. Their theory is people will come and buy but if they put tables in they would have to pay a restaurant tax -they refuse to do. Another note is they do not allow 18 wheelers to stop at. If one does come in they run them off. Bucees is great but some things are less friendly with them.

Buc -cees is smart to let AK vid in their facility . This is graet advertising for this operation - a giant convenience store / gas station with food options and dry goods . With a staff that can populate many small Texas towns . I hope they can stay in business and be successful .

Whenever you go up the coast of Florida or take another drive to New York, go to one of the Buckys on I 95. We’re eight is a novelty. It is very crowded witch makes it even more mesmerizing.

We live in San Antonio. My two youngest go get their faves all the time. They love it. Great stuff for movie nights. Especially Fall & winter for our Ranch in Sisterdale Texas. We snack by the fireplace. Welcome to Texas. Love your video. 🤠🤠🤠

Oh wow. I also live in North Carolina and was also completely mesmerized by the one in South Carolina. I stop by whenever I can but there are certain days that it is just way too overwhelming. Summer beach season on Saturdays and Sundays is not a good time to go there if you can avoid it. it looks like a Stadium concourse. It’s so crowded.

It's hard to focus on one thing for long. There's amazing food everywhere, for a traveler. I'll cross 8 lanes of traffic to get to a Buc-cee's restroom. I usually get a bag of salt water taffy, the assorted carnival(?) is best and a large Slushie. But when the Icee machines are down? A big ass soda. They have some exclusive Mtn Dew flavors there. The brisket sandwich is an okay deal. Always good and under $10. My fav. jerky is the Hill Country. I always buy a seasonal tie-dye Buc-cee's shirt. They changed them out quarterly.

LMAO! I'm a native for multiple decades. Mid-October is about right, but I usually think more towards Halloween. I've grown to hate September. So crazy to see all the things the US has to offer. So many Americans truly do not comprehend how incredibly lucky they are to live in such a country. I think this is the same Buc-ee's that Josh and Olly of Jolly and Korean Englishman went to on their trip through America. i think they went from Texas to California in that trip. I know Shaun went to this one and the one near Atlanta.

You sped past the vast selections of spices and rubs and an array of different salsas. Smoking meat here in Texas is as much an art as it is a competition. I'm sure they had a large selection of pellets for smoking, too.

Whatever you do, as a Traveler, don't sleep in their parking lot. They will kick you out or call the police. They are for stopping, buying your stuff, and get out. They aren't friendly to overnighters as Pilot and Flying J.

I've been to a few Buc-ee's locations, and honestly I don't get the appeal. A third of the store is snack foods, but I don't need four complete aisles of trail mix. There are some fresh foods like brisket, but few healthy options. The final third is a bunch of crappy housewares with pithy sayings like "Eat Pray Love." The only positive, and this is a big one for families with small children, is that the restrooms are huge and immaculately clean.
