Cap'n Crunch was one of my favorites back in the day. However, you have to limit to one bowl otherwise the roof of your mouth will be shredded.

Another pro tip.Dont only have one bowl at a time but let it soak for a bit in the milk to cut down on the hardness.The peanut butter flavor builds up in the milk in that flavor.

Just nuke your milk in the microwave to heat it a bit before adding to the cereal and you'll be able to eat it right away

You all should react to some content about the Amish/Mennonites. They’re incredibly interesting groups who get an undeserved bad rap a lot of the time in the USA. They make amazing furniture and food and are some of the nicest people one will encounter, and they usually speak english as a second language. They’re an amazing subculture within the US/NA that isn’t as prevalent elsewhere and is often overlooked.

Check out KZbinr Peter Santenello’s channel… he goes into these sub-cultural communities and vlogs about them. He has a series of videos about the Amish/Mennonite community in Sarasota, Fl and then gets invited by a family there to their home In Pennsylvania. It’s a get set of videos to watch.

When I was a little kid I had my own private church I went to on Saturday mornings. It was called Sat. morning cartoons & CAP'N CRUNCH. Once on a camping trip my parents forgot to bring milk but I still had my CAP'N CRUNCH w/ water. :)

It's so funny, we used to eat Captain Crunch when I was a kid, but I don't think I have ever tried the peanut butter 1! I gave up sugary cereal the years ago, and it's possible it came out after my time

@@LindaC616 I stopped eating sugary cereals by my teens because that cereal was for kids. 😂I’ve moved to Australia and they sell cereals in specialty stores for like $10 a box. My son loves Lucky Charms, Cheerios, Apple Jacks, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Oh and Chex cereals for Chex mix at Christmas. It’s not Christmas if I don’t make it. It’s expensive to buy cereals here, but once in a while is so worth it. He doesn’t prefer peanut butter cereal. Australian cereals are mostly healthy.

I fell in love with it again she adds fancy nuts to hers. Now, as a joke, she sends me a small tin every year at Christmas, because she knows I won't make it for myself. I live alone, and I don't trust myself with it in the house! 😋

Hey Fam, glad to see the sunflower seeds came pre-shelled for you this time. My box (sunflower seeds, Takis, Oatmeal Pies) may have had a few duds in it, but by my reckoning i hold the 6 TOES UP RECORD for Zero Bars. I was wondering though, whatever happened to the Mexican candies I included in the box? I saw Atlanta pull them out, but they never got reviewed. Same with the Tajin spice mix (Denz pulled that one). Love Tajin spice mix! I even put it on popcorn lol. Sopa De Fideos is my favorite when we make beef chimichangas, or enchiladas. We had our old neighbor teach us how to make enchilada sauce with chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder. The oil and sauce make it sooo delicious! I could eat Mexican food all the time.

Rural King is a great place to get old fashioned candies and snacks. Those maple candies can also be branded as Maple Nut Goodies I believe. Definitely a favorite in our family growing up.

Cool to see Cap’n Crunch. Fun fact: Cap’n Crunch and pretty much anything else made by Quaker Oats is made in my hometown of Cedar Rapids, IA. Quaker Oats is also the world’s largest cereal plant in the world. Cedar Rapids also has a General Mills factory that makes Cheerios, Annie's, Yoplait, Nature Valley, Fiber One, Häagen-Dazs, Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Old El Paso, Wanchai Ferry, Yoki and more. Definitely recommend Iowa as a place to visit on your trip to America.

Not only are you guys fun, but educational, and making forever memories with your family. Some restaurants take french toast, dunk the bread in the egg mixture, press the bread in smashed Cap’n Crunch cereal. Then they fry it till golden brown. Some people love it. I can’t stand it. South iced tea is always "sweet tea". Some like mint in it, some peach, some raspberry, and some like it with lemon and it is ALWAYS iced. Mix the sugar 1 cup to a quart, stir in 3 cups of ice, serve over ice. That's how we do tea in the south. ❤

My cousin used to always mix breakfast cereals together and create his own mashups. Wonder if Pokemon might be more palatable if sprinkled on Captain Crunch Peanut Butter. Might have a peanut butter & jelly type vibe. Just a suggestion for your cereal expert. I really enjoy watching your family explore bits of American culture in a box. You can see your strong bond and the fun you have with each other.

Spray cheese on Chicken and a Biscuit is like Pizza and ranch. SO good you cant stop.

I'm so excited that you got some Beer Nuts! They are made near me in a small family-owned factory. Even most Americans would be shocked to see how small the factory is.
