Great video Chris, loved the extra long one for Christmas. With all the bad press around KTM this reminds us all of what these bikes were designed for and can do (in the right hands). Amazing scenery and quality riding by all of the group. When it looks steep on GoPro footage you know it’s REAL steep 👌🏻

@@cyphatechie5459 I wouldn’t worry, I’m sure KTM will come right. Yes it’s the new Leatt Adv helmet. It’s a good thing! I wouldn’t normally use an adv helmet in on these rides but it’s very adaptable.

At climbings like 55:18, do you feather the clutch? Or is it just throttle control? And dont you scratch the part of the bike that is in contact with your inner legs at knees high? I do scratch it a lot so I don't know if maybe I'm taking too seriously that of "squeeze your legs" 😅 (mine is a 790 adventure R)

Merry Christmas! Hi Chris, I recently moved from Christchurch to Northland and have been struggling a bit to find roads suitable for ADV off-road riding. It used to be much easier and more convenient in Christchurch. I ride a Honda XL750 2023 and am especially interested in the dirt road at the beginning of the video, the one heading toward the snow-covered mountain. Could you let me know where this road is and how to get there? Is it a private road?
