At work not that often, It's probably more common out of town. I've come across it in my private travels before and had to call 111. I've found it is less to do with them not knowing the rules and mostly just not being prepared for how challenging some of our roads are. Hi Maighan I'm the one who sent Constable Hurn the Queensland Police patches. Most police forces are reluctant to give out patches as they form part of the uniform. Too many have used patches illegally as a form of identification. I think in Australia police can legally confiscate any police items a civilian may have, as they are technically crown property. As Constable Hurn said, buy some of their goodies. They look more fun than patches anyway. Might have to get the Police dog duo for my grandkids!!
