Your surprise dinner at the end had me so hungry! It seemed like a really nice day to relax and enjoy the area at a slower pace. The Wanaka Tee seemed pretty cool - I've seen photos of it during sunrise and sunset and it looks magical. Beautiful scenery everywhere you go! And I would have loved to have a hottub to relax in at the end of the day with some wine too 👌

We always have plans to relax and have wine in the hot tub but we are always too exhausted. That’s what I get for packing in all these activities during the day!

The way you have shown us New Zealand is amazing. The restaurant looked incredible and the attention to detail, fantastic. The Wanaka tree really intrigued us, as its just surviving in the middle of the lake, which makes it that more beautiful. You guys keep finding such awesome accommodation, but think it may be tough to have a good swim in the hot tub..hehehe. You and your family are fantastic and it is so great to see the fun you have together as a family and you can see so much love ALL the time. We love it. ONE LOVE

Such beautiful scenery! Definitely agree with you we also have a hard time to have relaxing days on vacation, always trying to maximize on opportunity to experience the place instead of relaxing on vacations which we end up coming home exhausted and most people don't understand how. Definitely able to relax more during full time travel as it's slower paced these days anyways. The tree was cool but my ch smaller than I expected, never seen it before but definitely unique

That’s funny because I always come home from vacation completely exhausted. The next trip I go on will be purely for relaxation! Yes the tree did seem smaller in person...maybe during the spring it might seem fuller...definitely didn’t help that people were sawing off branches!

Your accommodations and food are always so incredible!! The buffet and views for breakfast are just breathtaking! Gosh I know we’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, I can’t WAIT to get to NZ. New Zealand is truly a magical place. Everywhere you go in New Zealand, you always found a magical place. This vlog makes me miss our family travel in South. New Zealand is famous with their breath taking lookout views. That Wanaka tree is so unique and beautiful and the beach is so beautiful. I've been to Queenstown once and I can't wait to go back and vlog. Such a beautiful travel vlog. It's so hard to schedule some downtime on vacation. We always try to overload our itinerary too. We don't wait to miss anything! That Wanaka tree is a wonder! Your time in Wanaka looked like so much fun. How cool that the cottages were within walking distance of the lake. it was interesting to hear about the branches, i wonder why they cut them off. I also really enjoyed the shots of the weeping willow tree (or that is what I know them as). Your dinner looked amazing. I would def try an elderflower pear martini! The rib that was slow cooked looked and sounded sooo good.

The tree being vandalized was in the news while we were there and I am not sure if they ever figured out who did it or the motive. It was sad seeing the branches by the shore. 😔

Had no idea they had different types of Seagulls in New Zealand, they look a bit smaller than the huge ones we get in the UK! Did you ever find the duckies?? Your accommodation looks so nice and peaceful, love the outdoor area with the BBQ and hot tub, looks so good! That's so strange that people cut the branches off the Wanaka tree and just leave them there. Looks beautiful at that lake though, great place to reflect on the craziness going on in the world! Your daughter at dinner saying, "Excuse me, have a good day!" was the cutest! Dinner looked super fancy and good.

We were obsessed with the different birds in New Zealand. The sea gulls were so loud and much smaller than the ones in the US! I just know the ones at home love stealing your food! 😆

We were walking around the forest and kicking up bugs, so 2 fantails followed us. I love how they flutter around! We spent most of time trying to capture them on camera. 🥰
