Beautiful scenery, good to have ways to see natural places in other countries. Creeks are near to my heart, I live in the USA in the Southeast area of Tennessee. Mountains, valleys, caves and creeks are all around here. Very beautiful here as well.

Yes there are plenty of gold fields in NZ! I have been in the free fossicking areas, you can just go there and pan in the river, no permit is required within the designated area.
