I actually just heard the story of a holocaust survivor that is in this film, her name is Renee Firestone I believe. She had told us how they filmed them talking about their story and I did the googling and know I am really interested in watching the film

Have you tried Netflix or buying off EBay or Online , maybe even KZbin has the full movie up . Please disregard those saying this didn't happen. I beg you because it did . Those saying this are hate in its truest form . Also do not believe the people saying Black, Japanese (yes we had Japanese soldiers ), Hispanic and Native American Soldiers did not liberated the last concentration camps . A sick foolish group said this was a lie because their names were not on records . That is because they were pulled from their normal groups and placed in what were called Bastard Units . Mixed units thrown together so quickly , consisting of mixed soldiers to go on urgent missions so there names were rarely truly often not recorded , even White sodiers . However there is photographs proving they liberated the last camps and the men they served with remember them . Great documentary about a true event . Thomas Lantos, one rescued and in this film and who has sadly passed away in the last few years , moved to the U.S. and became a congressman representing California . He was a great man and him surviving the last days of the Nazis destroying Hungary and it's Jews at a record pace proves that some souls can never be broken . I also highly recommend The Story Of The Kinder Transport if you have not seen it. Ugh having to give up your own children to strangers to make sure they didn't die in or witness the Holocsust was hard enough . But having to pick which child to save ( in many cases ) ? Just so horrifying .

@@leeving2999 The BBC did a very good documentary on Nicholas Winton. The man who ran the Kinder Transport to the UK. Its available on KZbin just type Nicholas Winton BBC documentary into the search bar & it will come up.
