Thanks Nick. Yes it’s a great and sexy humidor. It works great and looks great too. It does use up a lot of water because of its large capacity. I would say I have to top off the reservoir every 2 to 3 weeks with distilled water, but it holds humidity and temperature very well. I’ve thrown in some 320 gram 72RH Boveda packs in there to help and it’s on point. It seems to recover very quickly after you’ve opened the door to either grab a cigar or restock.

I will do an update in about a month or two. So far the unit has been sitting in my un-heated basement since I made this video and the temperature has been nearly steady at the 70 degree Fahrenheit setting. My basement has been at about 51 degrees the whole time, so it can definitely maintain heat better than the CC100H or CC300H, as for humidity it bounces between 65-70 but I believe that is my fault because I don’t have that many cigars in there at the moment so there’s more empty space than there is cigars which will obviously affect humidity. I’m waiting for a good sale from Cigarpage so I can stock up and fill this baby up.

Crushr Reviews That’s awesome man! Thanks fir the quick response. It appears the heating function works great!! I hate reviews that don’t actually test the heating n cooling capabilities. Most guys put the unit in a temperature controlled room and say the heating n cooling work great. Lol. Well of course it does ! It’s a temp controlled room. Would also be curious about ambient temps above 80 degrees F and how it maintains temperature and humidity. Wondering if the humidity would maintain with the compressor kicking on more often due to ambient temps at 80 degrees or higher. Keep us posted through the spring and summer months man. Nice job 👍🏻

@@ironbound1984 absolutely, you read my mind. My basement can get pretty humid during the summer months, that’s the test I’m looking forward to. One of the features I failed to mention in my video is that this unit takes the excess condensation, drops it into the humidification water tray inside & uses it for humidification. Talk about self sustained. I’ll see how that really works during the summer months when it’s most likely to do it.

I'm curious about the fans inside, is their multiple or just 1 at the bottom? If only one, how is the humidity up top compared to down low?? I'm seriously considering buying this setup. Thanks for your insight.

It’s has 2 fans, 1 large fan on the back wall near the top for air movement, and one smaller fan just below it for heat distribution. The humidity varies ever so slightly from top to bottom, but I’m talking very minor changes. At first it took a while to get humidity to balance out but after a few days everything seemed to be on par. I should mention I don’t have a whole lot of cigars in there which definitely affects the humidity levels with so much space. I will also mention that the heating feature works great ! I keep mine in a basement where the temperature ranges at about 51F in winter. I live in the northeast and it gets very cold here, this unit held up very well in my basement. It’s only been a couple of weeks now but it has had its fare share of cold days already. Our temps are now starting to warm up, I will see how it does in the hot humid summer. I’m confident it’s gonna be a champ. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching my video.

I am wondering what the distance is between the adjustable feet from front to back? I found a square 22 inch coffee table to put it on. So if they are recessed a couple if inches it would work.

Side to side The legs are 19” Front to back they are a little recessed so they are 21”. Looks like your coffee table will be a perfect fit.

I measured the rubber feet from outer edge to outer edge both side to side and front to back, so it will definitely work on that coffee table. When do you expect yours?

Thank you, I believe Newair may actually sell the drawers separately eventually, but I’m sure they won’t be cheap considering the price of the unit overall.

The unit has no heating element. The minimum temperature will depend on the ambient temperature.

This unit DOES have heating. It’s equipped with what they call Optitemp which provides not only cooling but also heating. I can confirm that because my basement is approximately 56 degrees Fahrenheit during the winter and this keeps the temperature at 70 where I have it set. You can also feel the heat when you open the door.

@@GrayGhosting it’s cool dude ! Most of the units out there today have a heating element. Newair is the only one I know that offers the heating on only about 3 of their models. We’re still brothers of the leaf 😉
