Nonoka has shown herself being insecure about this situation before. Mahiru's decision def broke her right there but I also don't wanna blame Mahiru, she wants to get serious with her path and yes, Nonoka's mom can do that. But Mahiru being able to draw again due to Nonoka's words was true, tho. Just hearing it from Nonoka yelling at her probably hurt alot. Dunno what to say, Great reaction as always, tho. ❤

As far as the classroom laughing goes, the only things I can really think of is that Yukine has a history that Kano isn't aware of and everyone but her knew about it, but that seems off, or perhaps it's a stigma about being a "momma's girl/boy" and it's considered lame or something to just follow in your parent(s)'s footsteps. I'm not exactly sure either, but the second seems a bit more likely. Last episode, Mahiru had completely dropped using "Yoru" when talking to Mahiru, which I took note of, so it really hurt when she brought it back in such a spiteful way. This is really just a tough situation for both sides. On one hand, Mahiru genuinely wants to improve her drawing that she's been self-conscious about for a long time, and hearing Kano praise her art in spite of its flaws probably had the opposite affect on her at the time. Kano doesn't really care if Mahiru's art improves. She just wants to be together. Then her mother acknowledges those flaws and praises her for working to better herself, which is what she wants. On the other hand, Kano knows Yukine's true personality beneath the mask (She literally erased her daughter's identity and only started referring to her by her idol name), and how quick she'll dump you if you don't produce the results she wants. Honestly, maybe Mahiru would've changed her mind if Kano had opened up about what happened between her and her mom, so she knew what she was getting into, but that didn't happen.

i wonder if just me who realizes that if you Replace the word yoru which means night to “Yoru” which is Mahiru in the title “yoru no kurage wa oyogenai”, the title would become Yoru’s jellyfish can’t swim and the jellyfish here is Kano…

I have question. Does Mello work alone to manage the Mirubaka (Lookidiot) channel? I mean the video in Mirubaka uses a male voice, and there is a man in episode 8 who likes to cause scandalous problems, doxxing, and leak things on the internet, plus assumptions from fans who say that it is possible that Mirubaka is Producer Yukine and Yukine is very quick to find out there was an opportunity to sing because suddenly an idol group canceled their live performance. So I wonder if there is some connection between Mello, Yukine, and the doxxing guy.
