To answer your question: The kid at the execution scene was the later Captain Smoker. If I remember correctly, when facing Luffy in Logue Town, he mentioned witnessing it.

Trust me, you will remember Whitebeard, not only because he's a monumentally important character in the story, but because he's part of the "can we get much higher" meme. Also, he gets name dropped as early as Alabasta, so you'll hear of him fairly soon. Like he would likely be name dropped in the second season of the live-action version.

A bit late to this video, but I'm going to mention some interesting viewing anyway: two by Pixelcreek, who has one video series I *keep* going back to in amazement. A series recap music video called One Piece: The Musical. Watching the full thing would 100% be spoilers, but watching the first component would be very interesting. One piece as a whole is absolutely phenomenal. You definitely reach a few arcs that move a little slower and seem almost like a waste but in the end I've learned that even the most uninteresting arcs play some sort of role in the overall picture. I have a playlist I would love for you to go through of one piece amvs!! I am the type that enjoys getting spoiled (for the most part) because it hypes me up and gets me watching it again after a burn out from watching too much. As a wize man once said, If you watch One Piece before they find it in the show, you'll forever be part of the journey.. Those that watch the show after it's been revealed are of a different class. So basically we're the superior weeb xD A recommendation, while this AMV video is actually my very fav. another really good one, that showcases the world itself is "The Breathtaking world of One Piece" I think it's worth it. Also Def. binge tf out of the series. I myself had to restart the series 3~!~~!~~ times before i fell in love.. Now i've been watching the show for +/- 10 years now give or take and It's my all-time fav. show. Keep it up and you won't regret it :)

@@rageofmccabe No worries!~ Like i tried to convey, I was watching other anime back when i started but i could get accustomed to the (for me) foreign art-style, and i "just didn't get the humor" at the time. So i tried watching it (too early) up till like episode 60, and then a couple months later i got recommended it a bunch more so i tried again, stopped around the same area-ish but i had forgotten it all etc. By the 4e time, I actually checked out the different arc's on a Wikipedia page, and decided I'd tackle it by watching it per Arc or Saga.. So I'd do sessions of like anything between 3-10 episodes, depending on my free-time. and If i wanted a break i'd stop when an arc was finished.. That allowed me more time for breaks without losing the plot or where i was... Fast forward days/weeks and i fell in love.. It's been like 10 years since then, and I still watch it to this day, I only really stop to "stockpile" some episodes before binging it... The current arc, Wano has some amazing artwork. Def. will be worth it all :)

I fully believe you wont remember anything given that you even forgot about the smoker as a kid witnessing gold roger execution 😂😂😂 damn.. you would really love the second time watching or reading manga (which is much faster) of the series to catch these hidden details that you will have to come back and see it here. Like mentioning of a certain character in arlong park arc which am sure you already forgot about 😂 but it will play major role 100s of episodes later.

Dammmnnn! 🤣That's harsh haha but I get it! When I got told it was smoker, I hated myself alittle cuz I immediately remembered how smoker was basically saying how similar luffy and gol d Roger's execution was going to be. I'm probably wrong though 😑 It's just I watch these episodes so sporadically that I do have trouble remembering those things... Hopefully I don't disappoint too much here on. I will definitely love to watch a second time. Thank you for keeping me in check and commenting I do appreciate it!

my memory I would say is good. I could hop on wow and go into any raid and still know the fights really well and if I did it a second time I would be just as good as I was when it was on farm (I played wow a lot so I am using it as an example) and its this way for anything that I enjoyed in the past, so if I watched an amv and liked it but avoided the anime for a few years as soon as I started the anime the memory of the amv would come to me quickly and I would recall everything about it. If its about something I disliked I would not recall a single fact, even if I had to learn it to a degree of being able to do it with my eyes closed.

Did you get spoiled from this. I already don't even remember this AMV so no, It didn't spoil anything for me. I'm always going to be at risk of being spoiled by content or people if I'm on here. Especially the ones trying to comment complete spoilers to ruin it when I am just watching the episodes. Biggest spoiler I've actually seen so far is from my last one piece upload (72&73) someone commented a characters name and said he dies. So I would say that's a much worse way to get spoiled Sorry you feel that way

Yea SRAmusicvideos has been known to make ASMVs during the current arcs he makes them[anime arcs] like he made a zoro one after zoros fight in current arc, so its unfortunately always going to be spoilerlike unless your caught up
