One Piece is an amazing story, I'll admit when i first started watching the old and initially odd art-style put me off; I restarted the tv show 3x till about episode 60 over several years before i pushed through and kept watching. Today I've been watching it for give or take 12 years. You need to realize the art-style progresses as technology became more available, the animation improves a lot, also I had watched a bunch more different anime so i became more accustomed to "different" art styles. Today I'd hand's down say it's one of the very best stories I've ever seen. It's simply amazing. Def keep watching it, it's a 100% worth it. I'd also recommend doing binge sessions, you'll retain the story better and there's just so fuckin many episode's it's no use to either watch 1-2 episodes every so often, it's easier to either binge a whole bunch every couple days or once a week. I'd also recommend googling the "arc's/saga's per episode," then you can sort of aim to finish a saga before potentially taking a break for a while. My last bit would be; imagine you could have "your very best favourite series ever" would or would you not want it to have a enormous amount of episodes, so you could keep watching? Or would you prefer only 12-24 episodes? I personally would want to keep watching. One Piece is amazing and when you look back, you'll probably agree.

Spoiler: The reason why Gol D Roger was executed, is because he let himsef get captured, snce he was ill and had no longer to life. The reason why he was too early for One Piece, is because a weapon nsmed Posidon wasnt born yet and it will take 10 years or so. This was the reason why he laughed and named the Special Island laughtale. Also he was seen as the most dagerous men on earth, because he DARED to find out the truth, about the missing 100 - 800 years that was removed by the goverment from the history. And whoever try to study it, they get instantly executed. One crew member from Luffy is hunted down since she was 8 years old, csuse she is from Ohara, an Islan with a tree that was 1'000 years old and is the biggest bibliothek from the world with lots of Archeologysts. And the whole Isand got blown to the ground. The kid is the only survivor snd she is caled the devils child and accused of everything, just to get her to execute her. This girl will later in the series play a massive role, cause she knows out of all straw hats, information we yet have to find it out. She knows whats the One Piece. Right now, she is morwe or less a background straw hat, despite being one of the most powerful one.

There really isn't a story like it out there right now.

Actually Whitebeard and Roger are both friend and enemies. Roger let himself be executed by the marines because he was terminally ill and before he did, he revealed all of the secrets of the one piece to white beard along with the will of 'D' after their fight in Wano. Whitebeard never found the one piece but wanted to act as a mediator to who ever was worthy of the one piece and could surpass Roger.

The Appeal of One Piece is outdated, the video is old and doesn't do a good job of promoting the anime. It an older video and you can tell, and currently The One Piece anime has been putting out God tier episode's that are better than the manga.
