Well I guess it's ssme as when mothers don't make good mums to their kids, this nature nurture stuff, to put it blun t she didn't want him, or babies, can uou put donkeys on the pill. I bever wanted kids id love them but serious mentsl health issues, and autism mean s ,id never cope with a baby ,it's just not there in my brain neurons a specslist years ago before I had hysterectomy said you'd be triple the chance of post natal parpetrum, whi h can be fatal yo mum and in past some mum s hsve killed their babies ,so I never had kids or a relationship ,it's same with donkeys she had just had him been in pain ,made right connection and was saying no way he's yours

Humans have postpartum psychoses too. I wonder if the mother donkey could have her milk pumped so it could be given to the baby but also lactating can restore hormonal balance. Hormonal imbalance which is part of the cause of the psychosis could be regulated by this natural process and become a way of healing it.
