I commented in one of your pregnancy videos. I think its the one where you showed whats in your hospital bag. In the comment i wrote that me and my husband had been trying for almost 8 years to have a baby. That we tried everything and nothing would happen. Hello there, I remember when my kids were babies and I literally had almost everything you have for your baby. They are 21 and 20 now. I think they turned out great. One is an actor and Theatre director and the other a graphic designer. Everything you are doing is correct. You are doing an amazing job as a first time mommy. Sorry for the 2nd comment...As a momma of 2 (12 yr old son & 2 1/2 yr old daughter) I've learned a lot of tips/tricks along the way as well... When you get to the point where you want to transition Sebastian to sleep in his crib, take 2 of his either swaddle blankets or regular baby blankets (not to big or too thin), roll them up like long hot dogs and secure one on each side of him, it will give him that secured/womb like feeling. Natalie Fletcher that’s bad advice, shouldn’t have extra blankets in his bed because of sudden infant death syndrome. To use a blanket, make sure the baby’s feet are at the bottom of the crib, that the blanket is no higher than the baby’s chest, and the blanket is tucked in around the bottom of the crib mattress. Can’t have even soft toys in the bed.

I have the My baby sound machine! My daughter uses it, she's one. Personally I think it is loud enough it has many different noises. What I do really like is the timer and if you don't want the timer it will stay on until you turn it off

Don't sweat the Halo Bassinest. I had a C-section too and I found it was terrible for me. It was very difficult to get out of bed post surgery because this giant bassinet was in my way and swinging it to the side was miserable for my stitches. After surgery, you really just want to roll out of bed without using any stomach muscles and this makes it impossible. Also, it doesn't attach to your bed. One side moves down a little bit if you apply quite a bit of force, but it's not really a co-sleeping item. It's also impossible to incline for colicky or acid-reflux babies. It's great for one thing -- stubbing your toes on those long legs. It's a monstrosity, and my kid thought it was super uncomfortable. We dropped a ton of money on it and never used it.

The halo bassinet doesn’t have a feature where a part of it can be pushed down to make it easier to get the baby out. It has a swivel mechanism so it can slide over the bed, to make it easier to get the baby.

Good job on the cradle cap remedy! Jett had a mild case of it as well. I used coconut oil with a drop or two of tea trea oil and massaged his scalp and let it set for 20 min before bath. It is diminishing! I also give him a full body massage before bath!

Docatot is not safe for babies to sleep in, I dont understand why moms keep recommending them as co sleepers. Anything that can obstruct a babys air is dangerous for SIDS. This is why bumpers and loose blankets in cribs are not recommended.

Technically cradle cap is seborrheic dermatitis which is lipophilic. What that means is that it's thrives in oily environments. Honestly, the Selsun Blue is going to be way better to treat it than using olive oil because the yeast that causes cradle cap actually lives in oil. It's likely that it's the scrubbing that's making it look better transiently because you're taking off the flaky bits of the skin, but it's not going to help with eliminating the cause of seborrheic dermatitis which is that yeast.
