If you like these products you can find much more affordable dupes on Amazon. Baby’s r Us also has some great options. As many have said this stuff is lovely BUT PRICEY!! Given how fast babies grow… If it is your first, and you plan to have several more than MAYBE invest if you can afford it, but truthfully you can get buy with much cheaper options. I have been a full time nanny for over 25 years taking care of EVERY age from brand new to middle school aged, and some of the best baby stuff my mums have sworn by came from Target or similar type shops. x

All of these items are just so overpriced. It’s adorable stuff and some of it is practical, but just not worth it if you don’t have the money to just throw away. I wish you guys could do a video showing your favorite AFFORDABLE baby items for us not so wealthy followers lol... love watching y’all’s videos but dang if I don’t feel inadequate after seeing the things you have no problem buying for your sweet angel ♥️

Ok so a few things i have found that are affordable alternatives to theirs... the Strolyy... it turns any infant carrier into a small stroller and its like $80. Its awesome. The pacifiers they choose are actually my babies favorite... they are really good for breastfeeding babies, the shape of them creates less nipple confusion. Diapers and wipes... the Huggies snug and dry. Out of all the diapers ive tried, i like these the best. They keep my little girl completely dry to the point that she doesn’t wake up in the night wanting a new diaper. Pampers not so much... cries just after one little pee...

My son loved sound machine. He still uses the echo dot! It was cheap and it continues to play music or sounds until I get on my phone to physically turn it off. My son knows where it is at & hes 17 months old! My son also had a tiny fan on his car seat like yours and we actually got it back out and used it recently! Best thing ever!!

I loved the Love to Dream sleepers/swaddles! Both my babies slept through the night in them. It allowed them access to their hands being up and helped them with the startle reflex. Plus the night time changings and feedings were easy going as I didn't need to unswaddle them and they often stayed asleep or more easily fell asleep during it. ❤ It made life with a newborn/growing baby easier in my opinion.

Something I would like to see you use is netting for your strollers. This protects your baby from mosquitoes that can carry diseases and this time of year with rain and heat they are out. Here in Ontario, Canada, our province is similar to your area this time of year and I noticed you walk through a little forest. The netting is easy to put on and so worth it for your sweet baby boy, congratulations by the way. Grandma Nancy from Canada. 🇨🇦

Please make sure when you are feeding the baby with a bottle you set him up more. If you don’t it is possible give him a ear infection. His Eustachian tube can become swollen or blocked causing fluid build up in the middle and inner ear. He will not be a happy baby if this happens. Watch if he pulls on his ear a lot which is a indication that he would have an ear infection.

Keep an eye out for when the little one starts wiggling when you put him to sleep at night. That can be as young as 2-3 months. At that point, if they can roll, they can roll over in that swaddle and not be able to re-roll back, because they’re all wrapped up. He will not be able to breathe and you’ll never know it in the middle of the night.

Love your videos! I was just wondering, having also experienced a loss, do you find it’s easier now that you have him? Or was it easier once you got to a certain point in pregnancy? We’re still trying but I worry I’ll never get over it.
@trista57924 жыл бұрын
So so Sorry for your loss 💛 not that you’re asking others... but for us, it got easier after I made it it about 25 weeks pregnant (when the baby is viable outside the womb) but we still miss and think about our baby who we’ll meet someday in Heaven, and wonder why we never got to hold him or her, and why things ended how they did. Also once you’ve lost a baby, that fear is always there- and even once the baby is born, you can always allow fear into your mind- you have to make the decision that you can only do your best to protect and pray for your child (born or in utero) and do what is within your control- which is only so much. It took me six months to recover from a first trimester loss before conceiving again. It gave my body a chance to heal, and me a chance to get back into a somewhat healthier mental state again.

I love the Nanit baby monitor. I originally bought the Miku but the camera quality wasn't great and the app features were not wonderful either. I also considered the owlet but didn't try it. I love the Nanit because it keeps track of my baby's breathing rate and alerts me when she isn't breathing without having any electronics on her body. The app also gives me sleep insights to help improve her sleep and tips for how I can help her sleep more efficiently.

I always but a rolled cotton bracket behind my babies so that any throw up or spit while baby is sleeping can dribble out the side otherwise the baby could choke.
