Its always been questionable buying surplus players from our rivals. Somehow fans actually believed that Petr Cech was ALL that we needed to be Premiership champs. A player who was SURPLUS to Chelsea and fading was all we needed right? We are the only club who buy surplus players from our rivals while selling them our best. Cech was better than what we had but he was fading. Cech came to an Arsenal side with a leaky defense and is being exposed. Our defense has been shit for YEARS...Cech never had a chance. We need a better goalie, but without defensive players in front of them and a better manager in control, we will continue to decline imo.

Mustafi wasn't the worst player. The whole DEF was shit. Atleast Mustafi created 2 chances. Chambers was allover the place and missed that chance. Monreal headed the ball that created the chance for newcastle (mustafi headed it b4 him...) holding was meh.
