It would be interesting to see what Eddie Howe thinks of having his players, play a extra 90minutes of football compared to other competitors and deal with the suspensions apposed to the other teams. It’s not truly fair. Getting a bonus because you placed better last season is basically the premier leagues motto unfortunately.

@@AllanM2e0Joelinton works best box to box. He’s not a pivot. Leave Sandy where he normally plays. It’s not broken so don’t try to fix it? Longstaff drops nicely into the right of the middle three, Joelinton goes left as usual. Longy isn’t Bruno but he’s “the onion in the Bolognese’ ie you don’t really see him but without him there’s a gap. I think Longstaff for this game because the Gooners love to play a fast short game in the half space around the edge of the area. Longy is very disciplined in covering that space. Joe Willock works too though. He’s good at pulling the oppo out of shape by carrying the ball forward. Maybe a half each for Joe and Sean?
