Good point on Dubravka - he actually looks a lot more confident this time around compared to previous cameos. So he has improved. I would still prefer Kelleher. PL&CL experience, locked in as Ireland no.1 and only 26 very recently. Maybe even cheaper than Trafford, which is insane but true.

What we don't have at all is an Attacking Midfielder not Willock who loses the ball 3 times out of 5. A great passer and dribbler who is very good on the ball. Odegard-like.

Interestingly the names Chris Rigg? (Sunderland) & one Maximo Perrone (Man City) currently out on loan somewhere but both exceptional left footed highly skilful ball playing ATTACKING MIDFIELDERS in the Cole Palmer mould and why not? Excited about young defender Khusanov (if we can actually go out and SEAL THE DEALS instead of dilly dallying and risking losing out like we've done before Imagine if we'd shown enough ambition and speed we could now have Cole Palmer shining on Tyneside and becoming a Geordie legend 😮😮😮

16 clean sheets out of 25 is impressive, but how much of that is down to him or Burnleys defence? Dubravka has kept 4 clean sheets in the last 4 but we're all saying it's because we're protecting him with how we're playing now and Tonali in that number 6 and the defence playing well. We should compare in a similar way, but 16 is impressive, but im still not sure he's the right guy. And if Burnley get promoted there's very little chance they sell him for less than £35-£40m which instantly puts me off.

Trafford is very dodgy, he flaps at alot of crosses. Personally like a keeper who fills the goal. Trafford looks small in goal.

Grealish isn’t a typical northern player like Gordon or Rooney that fans love for their physicality and non stop running. Rooney was technically gifted so he was special in that regard. I mean Tevez, Rooney and Ronaldo was a devastating front 3, it had everything. Grealish is a silky player that likes to play at his own speed. He doesn’t suit us at all.

I don’t agree Trafford isn’t a priority this window. Let Dubravka have his move, he isn’t suddenly a top keeper he’s just barely faced any shots. He will against the better teams in the business end of the season + cup finals etc. Pope has done both shoulders and now a knee. Got to do Trafford now for £25m if we can. He massively improves us. Also interesting that he didn’t play in the cup tie earlier in the season so he’s not tied 🤔

Grealish???!!!!!! Our whole attack is based on speed, we'd slow that down big style simply by the fact that he likes to approach defenders then jink past them. Don't get me wrong, I saw him at Villa a few times and he was world class, but he just would'nt fit the brief.

Grealish is in the same bracket as Lingaard, Sterling, Ali and Rashford. All the ability in the world but zero work ethic. If those players put in the hard yards they would become top class instead of fading away.
