Anyone else find it hilarious how much love Deathwatch have got lately in WH Media, and they’ve just been removed as an official army on the tabletop?

What I find hilarious is that their imperial agents boxes didn't sell and they just realised how dumb that idea was.

From the video, looks like the Necrons were Flayed ones, Flayed Ones are twisted and ghoulish Necron terrors afflicted by an ancient infection that breeds a hunger for organic flesh in them. Flayed Ones act as specialised close combat troops. They appear from an unknown pocket dimension of their hideous kind to join the Necron armies in battle, though never by invitation from the Necrons themselves.
@0815UserIIАй бұрын
Also of note, since nobody want to get infected, let along get a whole tomb world infected, with the Flayer Curse, the Necrons tend to deactivate the reanimation protocols for Flayed Ones. Except when you're called Oltyx and get a duology written about you.

2:08 that's look like Titus' father - Lord Regent of Imperium, primarch of the Ultramarines - Roboute Guilliman himself. If I am not mistaken the Crimson Fist shoot special anti phase bolts that prevent necron from teleporting back to their tombs (but Flayed Ones are not teleporting anyway, coz they got that pesky flayer virus that all "normal" necrons hate and can't stand).

Some Lore info on the Deathwatch. The Deathwatch is not a Space Marine chapter, It's a specialised anti-xenos military organisation under the authority of the Inquisitions Ordo Xenos to which chapters lend individual space Marines. A Deathwatch Kille Team will have Space Marines from different chapters. Usually they have their Chapter Symbol on the one Pauldron and the Deathwatch Symbol on the other, but there are also Marines serving their known as Blackshields, they for very various reasons do not want, or cannot show thei chapter affiliation. In some cases this is because they are Loyalists from a Traitor Legion (though that is exceedingly rare in 41M) Some may have been disgraced from their Chapter, or like Titus feel that they don't deserve to wear their Chapter Colours, and many other reasons The Three main Ordos of the Inquisition each have a Military Force they can always call on. For the Ordo Xenos (the Ordo that deals with Alien threats) it is the Deathwatch The Ordo Hereticus can call on the Adeptus Soroitas (Sisters of Battle) The Ordo Malleus can call on The Grey Knights Usually these forces are only called in if an inquisitor feels the threat is too big to deal with their own (significant) resources or Convential Imperial Guard or Arbites (sort of the FBI of the Imperium, only think Judge Dredd kind of Police, They are Heavily armed . FBI as in Planets will have their own Security/Police forces but will also have an Arbites Fortress that supersedes the Local Forces in matters of Law. And Imperial Law is Brutal and unforgiving. Needless to say they are rather more like a Heavily armed Paramilitary Force rather than current day Police, cause Grimdark Future is Grimdark)

Loyalists to traitor primarchs are those that stay loyal to the Emperor? I like the secrecy for protection.

I heard from someone else, but the reason why Necrons dont phase out or self repair is tactical marine's special ammo prevents it. Thats why bulwark let tactical shoot them instead of finishing them himself. New ammo is probably a new toy from inquisition.
@paimonisfood4986Ай бұрын
Only high level Necrons can self-repair on the spot and I think only a Lord or Overlord can order his subjects to phase out.
@randomdude8202Ай бұрын
@@paimonisfood4986 They phase out when they are incapacitated, it is automated. But to be fair, a petty overlord can refuse to activate it if he thinks his units don't deserve it, like in pariah nexus show
@paimonisfood4986Ай бұрын
@@randomdude8202 I was wrong. These are flayed ones so they can't phase out like normal Necrons as that would infect the others.
