I love that Syama is using some less popular chapters for this like the Angels Vermillion (I thought they were Blood Angels but you can see a skull in the blood drop on the shot of their pauldron and the Angels ermillion symbol is the same as the Blood Angels but with a skull in the blood drop), Scythes of the Emperor (Ultramarine successors that totally aren’t Iron Warriors), Sons of Medusa ((green guys, sadly not salamanders) Iron Hands successors that are tried to a potentially heretical prophecy), and Mortifactors (Ultramarine successors that do not resemble Ultramarines at all, they’re tribal cannibals and still one of my favorite chapters)

There is a type of "doom guy" character in 40k, his name is Kaldor Draigo. He currently roams the Warp killing untold amounts of demons, and will re-appear in reality every so often. Funnily enough, he usually shows up whenever Chaos Cultists try to summon a demon. They are instead greeted with an 8 foot tall psychic super soldier who proceeds to rip them apart and then go back into the Warp.

Yep they were tyranids and orks. There was a Tau too :) but no Salamanders, the green guys were Sons of Medusa - all the marines in this are from successor chapters

To say it in simple terms why the bolt guns do that much damage. It´s basically a self propelled can of red bull that explodes.

so the guy in the orange armor with the scythes on their head are the "Scythes of the Emperor" the red ones are A Successor chapter to the blood Angel, the gray ones are the Retributor that are now official/canon.. and are a successor chapter to the imperial fist... the green one are Sons of medusa and the ones with the white skull are the Mortifactors... and they are fighting chaos space marine of Khorne, Tau, Orks, Tyranids... and maybe Cultist... the series looks to be each episode going to focus on a specific chapter of the space marine until it culminate into the survivor joining the Deathwatch....

Space marine armor is made of Ceremite. A far-futuristic metal allow far stronger & lighter than modern metals...which are still incredibly heavy since there's so much used in each suit. The armor has advanced computing capabilities & is "powered" (the backpack is the power source) that enhanced the marines already considerable strength & formidability

The "Absolute" reference was regarding the strike teams *projected mortality" aka percentage of calculated death toll. Even IF any survived there was a planned orbital strike "danger close" as soon they accomplished their mission. That shows just how much of a threat the Tzeentch (chaos diety) incursion represented to the region of space. The planer was likely a thriving imperial world that suddenly went "silent". They were sent to investigate or were sent on mission after others investigated. The once thriving world had fallen to madness (mad max style of war bands & chaos cultists & demonic/Warp activity in real space) & its continued existence would only spread if allowed to thrive. So, suicide mission to destroy the source of the world's downfall, the demon/sorcerer of Tzeentch (lord of change) & th3 idol/statue that likely acted as some sort of locus to weaken the veil between reality & the warp (unreality...matter & antimatter). Should give you pause when thinking of all these "dark(anti) matter" experiments our own egg heads are running these days. Lots of wacky scary side affects appear to be involved with samples they've managed to "capture"

There is a weapon capable of wiping out all Space Marines. The Empathic Obliterator owned by Necron Overlord Trazyn the Infinit. the problem is that there is a risk that the weapon could wipe out everyone who knows what a Space Marine is and that includes Trazyn himself. There are incredible weapons in 40k. However, they have enormous consequences if something goes wrong in how you use them. The Empire has a cannon that shoots microscopic black holes from the dark ages of technology and the whole reason they don't use it is that the calibration gives the answer a 0.0001 percent chance of self-destruction.

im not going to lie but the amount of pausing is extremely excessive. there is also far too many times youre backtracking in missed details because of the over reliance in checking "chat" not saying its bad or anything but you could certainly digest the information better if more attention was paid to the video rather than chat.

The only reason they are trying to add female space marines is because amazon is giving them money, it makes zero sense lore wise and would only appeal to the "female power fantasy", there is plenty of female representation already in 40k.

We have the Way more Badass and cooler All Female SISTERS OF BATTLE!!! so there's lots of female.. just for some reason everyone bitching about no female in space marine... if we go with that we also need Male sister of battle.. The Custodian's are not space marine but people created in tube so not the same process at all and yeah the Sister of Silence are custodian too... so IDK why people got mad about it
